God bless you,
What capture your eyes mostly is something at the centre of a place or someone that is in the spotlight. Maybe you walk in a mansion the first thing you will see inside the mansion, the first time you are there is the chandelier hanging. Than your eyes will see the rest. If it is outside maybe a waterfall. Anyways the point is that there is something or someone that will capture your focus. It can impact you so much that even your life can revolve around all this. If it is a person (idol) you have posters or other things that will remind you of this person. If it is the mansion you saw, you will work harder. Everything what you just read didn’t mention God-Jesus-Holy Ghost.
As followers of Jesus these things mention don’t have to have an impact on or life. We are not created to serve nor celebrate/focus on the material things nor have idols. The book of Daniel in the bible tells a story of a King named Nebuchadnezzar whom dreamed dreams wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. He commanded to call the magicians, astrologers, the sorcerers and the Chaldeans to translate/ explain to him to dreams he dreamed. But no one could explain it to Him. He was angry about it and ordain his guards to kill them because they couldn’t explain it to Him. Daniel heard about this and wanted to see the King. Daniel 2:16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. So it came to pass that the secret was revealed to him in a night vision. He had an answer and went back to the king to tell him the interpretation. The story keeps telling that the king made Daniel a great man. Further on in Daniel 3 the story begins that Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold. He gather together princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces to the dedication of the image.
The image was made so the people could worship the image of gold. Whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. (words of Nebuchadnezzar). The time was set for the people to worship the image, but than the king heard that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will not bow down for their gods. He was so fury that he told his men to put the furnace seven time heater and he commanded his most mighty men to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and to cast them into the burning furnace.
Bible: Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (blessed be the name of the Lord)
This is a story of bible that you have to read for your self. What is clear is; They served a living God they wouldn’t bow down for any image made of god and certainly they were not afraid for our God the most high. He was in the midst of the fire with them. Let your life revolve around God, Jesus, Holy Ghost the Tree in One. When your life is all about God, your focus is all about Him, you celebrate the living God automatically He is your midst and will be in the midst of everything you go through.
God bless you; With loving regards
