God is God.

God bless you,

Today I will write you about Jonah. It is often God ask us to do something, or He proves or obedience towards Him and we neglect Gods request. It is usual that when we don’t listen to God, obey Him things intend to go bad/wrong. When things goes wrong and we tried every other option there was to escape and deviate from the original plan, than we remember and recognise God for whom is really is. Sometimes we do things expecting that God will do something in return, but it doesn’t work that way. You have to work for God without expectations, that God will do something in return. God always reward us for the good we do. But He will do this in His perfect timing and not in the time we think we need it.

Lets take a look at the scripture what it is telling us about Jonah:

The bible tells us that the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying; Arise and go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. But as for Jonah he flee from the presence of the Lord. He planned to go to Tarshish, Jonah knew a ship that was going to that direction so he paid thereof and get up into the ship. (this was so he could escape from the presence of the Lord) Now it came to pass that the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken. Everyone on the ship was afraid, the mariniers were afraid and called upon the people to cry out to their gods for help. But nothing happend and they decided to cast lots to see whom fault it was that they were in middle of that mess. The lot fell upon Jonah. The interrogated Jonah by asking Him where he came from, who his god was. Jonah told them he was a Hebrew and that he feared the Lord, which hath made the sea and the dry land. the man knew than that he fled from the presence of the Lord. They ask what they should do. Jonah told them that they had to throw him in the seam but the people would rather put him on dry land. But the storm was against them the ship wouldn’t make it to the land. They didn’t have an option but to throw Jonah into the sea. When the did so, the wind ceased and the glorified God and offer Him a sacrifice. But for Jonah God prepared him a big fish, the fish swallowed him and he stayed in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights. (Jonah 1)

And  the bible kept telling us about Jonah in chapter 2 that while in the belly, Jonah prayed; He recognised God for Whom He was, he pored his heart out to God and God listened. (Jonah 2)

After 3 days and 3 night the big fish spit Jonah out on the land and the word of the Lord came for the second time to Jonah. Jonah task remained he hath to go tell the people of Nineveh that if they don’t change their habits, lifestyle that their wickedness will become them. When the people of Nineveh heard this they believed God and change their ways. God saw this. (Jonah 3)

God was good for them merciful and gracious. God spared them and gave them an other opportunity. But Jonah was angry, because he went through all of that for God to change ‘the plan”. He saith it’s for me better to die than to live, this he saith twice and it came to pass that Jonah stayed angry at God until death he saith. (Jonah 4)

This is a resume of Jonah chapter 1 till 4. Jonah wouldn’t obey God, he fled from the presence of God. Everything went wrong; first the winds secondly he was thrown overboard and third he was captive in the belly of a big fish for three days and three nights. After this he recognised God and prayed to God and God heard him. God give him and second chance to prove himself. God was merciful all along. But things went wrong because Jonah expected something of God knowing God is God and He will do whats best. So at the end Jonah was the one who came to perish because of his gourd.

I hope you learned a lesson out of this story. God is God. He has the last word in everything.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

All it takes is a mustard seed.

God bless you,

God loves you, He will never leave or forsaken you. There are times you encounter yourself in situations that gives the feeling as if you are drowning. It is like your in middle of the big blue ocean and the waves become turbulent and you cant see to find your way back out of the sea. Today I want to tell you, don’t focus on the waves, nor the storm. Through the waves focus to see Jesus that is in the storm with you that when He tells you to get out of it, you can pass through all of it without drowning. In everything Jesus has to be your prime focus. Because our help come from Him. We can’t do anything by ourself. You have to believe that when things go a little crazy in your life that He is still there. Maybe you don’t feel Him, or you taken that He has forsaken you but if you fid your own voice and believe and to call upon Jesus name, you will find strength to move forward.

The bible tells us a parable of a mustard seed: Matthew 17:19-21 KJV

19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

If you read this part of the script you will understand that we pray for something without believing that it will and can happen in our life. Further more you see that Jesus said to them that if the had faith as a grain of mustard seed, than ye can move mountains. Now if we know a mustard seed a very little seed maybe if you don’t look close enough you will over see it. But their are cases that faith is not all it takes you have to combine it with prayer and fasting so the job will be done. Everything God starts He will finish, so let Him. Somethings you can’t see but if you believe that it can and will God will reveal you which pad to go so you can see that it is you want to see.

God bless you and stay under the anointing of the Holy Spirit (your guider)

With loving regards,

Your call!

God bless you,

Today I want to take time to write to you about what God has called you for. There are three case scenarios 1st You know what God has called you for, 2nd you know but you don’t know how to work towards it and 3rd you don’t know what God has called you for. In our daily bases of life we struggle with the way people judge us by the look or by our actions.

There are times we are confident in what God has called us for and other where we struggle wether we have to it or not. Along the way to achieve what God has called us for and to achieve that purpose behind it we get no’s, we get people speaking toward us and as we know words spoken by mouth are powerful and it can affect us spiritually. Breakdown is possible and you begin to think what am I supposed to do now. You become in-securer, but remember God is the one whom called you not man, God is the one whom gave you the task, God is the one whom said yes go for it. So if it is God why we panic what other people think or say. Pray about seek answers in the bible and give God the chance to deal with the situation for you. don’t take manners in your own hands because the battle is not yours.

Sometimes it is hard because there words spoken to you and you don’t aspect that person would tell you something like that. But remember satan wants to destroy everything that is good in you he wants to twist the truth in you so you can deviate from it. But at the end the God in you is bigger, so He will find the way to assure that some one tells you that you have to keep on moving and do what you are doing for the Lord.

1st case scenario: If you know what God has called you for, you have to pray so He you can reveal to you every step of the way which way to turn. Be sensitive to His voice (so you learn recognising His voice), be in constant relationship with Him and follow by His rules.

2nd case scenario: You know what you have been called for and you don’t know how to start. Don’t lean on your own understanding, trust in the Lord your God for whom nothing is impossible. Surely you have to pray. Prayer and worship releases clarity and prospective in what God wants of you.

3rd case scenario: When you don’t know what your calling is pray about this, ask God what it is He wants you to function. And while you are waiting for this you can start being an example to others, spreading the word of God. Because He said in His word go and make all nation My disciples. so we have work to do. When your are being functional God always let you see and feel where and how you have to work for His kingdom.

If we look closely at every scenario there is one clue this is that you have to be in prayer so He can show you what you have to do. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV 17 Pray without ceasing.

Today i want to encourage you with this verse that is refreshing to our mind, body and soul. It keeps us going on.

Joshua 1:9 KJV Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Stay blessed,

With loving regards,

Blessings pair with trials.

God bless you,

In life we encounter many obstacles and temptations. As we try are very hard best to be obedient and to live according Gods law we still get insure sometimes, or tempted to go back to our old way to live. In all this if you have chosen God the Almighty the Alpha and Omega and you made your decision to devote completely to Him, you will know that you reward will come from Him. It is not easy to overcome the obstacles, but if you know your bible and you that God is with you nothing but nothing can your move your faith you have in God.

If we look at the passage where Jesus being tempted by satan it recalls knowledge of the word of God and know that the purpose for what you are going through is for the best. Without trial you can’t reach your blessing. (satan tries to steal your blessing away by distracting you) Without sacrifice you can’t reach succes. Those things work in pair.

Jesus in the wilderness; Matthew 4:1-11 KJV

1. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

As human Jesus was tempted. We as people get tempted also, satan uses anything that can distract you. Situation a person or something else from keeping you reach your purpose. But I always heard this sentence never loose your Focus (God). Anytime you take the decision to follow Jesus, satan brings something in your life to question that decision. Today I want to encourage to stand firm. You will receive your blessing.

Matthew 5:3-12 Blessed are (read it if you get the chance)

God bless you,

More than conquerors.

God bless you,

Today I want to remind you that you are not alone and that you’re more than a conqueror. If you put your faith in God and believe that He is there every step of the way than you don’t have anything to worry about. We worry to much beside worrying we create stress, we block God and we form an obstacle the overcome our challenge. Don’t let this become a pattern in your life. Give God the chance to move and bless you. Cling to Him and use His strength to overcome your trial or what it might be that keep you from moving on. He promised us to never leave us alone. Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Also the bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV 13 There hath no temptation taken hold of you but such as is common to man. But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. All this give us proof that we are not alone.

If you are in a situation where you have to deal with man and you think you will not overcome, you will not survive or you ask yourself what shall I do. The bible gives you an answer for this to.

Romans 8:31-37 KJV

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So God loves us that much that He will never leave us. He will be their with you. In fact God never fails in His battles so if we are team God we can never loose because He will battle with us, so we will conquer. In Psalms 23:4 the bible tells us that even we go through the valley of the shadow of death, we don’t have to fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they will comfort me. Today proclaim in the situation that you are in; I will come out of it and I will be more than a conquerer. I will let nothing become a barrier that stand me in the way and that keep me from moving forward.

Hope you have been blessed,

With loving regards,

Man or Woman never loose your praise.

God bless you this morning so you may have in abundance.

As many of us know life isn’t that easy as we think it will go. We deal with loss of people, position and possession. Sometimes it is a loss of people in inner circle or it is a friend but we have to deal with the loss. Some people come into our lives just to help us reach or grow in a certain part towards or destiny. We loose a position or a status from married to widow. Or if it is in your job from department manager to be a salesman. If it is possession we speak of houses, cars or other things of great value that can be destroyed by a storm. In all these things we have to make sure we never loose our praise. We never take God for granted. God is whom gave it to us so He can and will give back to us. We have to learn that some things are not meant to stay forever, they are temporary to help us move forward. So when deal with loss of people, position or possession don’t shallow into it. I have lost possession in a hurricane, our house flood with water and all I can do at the moment at the moment is thank God the house is still standing even though we had to put new stuff in it. Blessed be His name. Stand up give God praise and move forward. Praise is something you can never loose. You may think it is easy for me to say but it is not. I have dealt with loss of a miscarriage, loss of great friendships, loss of a great leader Pastor in my life, but through all of this I didn’t give up. I didn’t loose my praise. Today I have two beautiful daughters, people I can count on to help me grow spiritually and I have a great leader Pastor a powerful man of God who guides me.

Biblical we can look at some Characters, I will pick two. Naomi and Job.

First of all Naomi was married and had two sons. Naomi and her husband Elimelech fled out of their land because there was hunger there. They went from Belen to Moab. In Moab they lived for years. It came to pass that Elimelech, Naomi’s husband passed away. She was left with her two sons whom took them wives, woman of Moab. But also Mahlon and Chilion (sons of Naomi) died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband. Naomi was left with her daughters-in-law. Orpah and Ruth. She arise and command them to return to their homeland. We can read in the book of Ruth that Orpah went back but Ruth cling to her and said. Your land will be my land and your Lord will be my Lord. Naomi heard that her Lord was in Belen and that there was food for them there.

Conclusion: Naomi lost People and Position but she didn’t lost her praise at first she wasn’t joyful about it but at the end of the book of Ruth she will be rewarded. Naomi when back to her Lord, she recognise she needed the Lord to move forward. She didn’t dwell upon the losses in her life she continue living. Ruth 1-4

Then we can take a look at Job. Job 1:13-19 Highlight verse 20-21 KJV

Job had it all, he was a perfect and upright man. Job had seven sons and three daughters. (Jobs story)

13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: 14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: 15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: 19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

So Job lost everything but everything he had. But this didn’t keep Him from Praising God. This were Job words in verse 20-21;

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

So Job praised the Lord even though he lost everything. He said naked I came out of my mother womb, and naked I shall return thither; the Lord gave, and the Lord taken away. This take great strength, but Job choose to move forward with what he had left and that was his praise. He didn’t dwell in loss but in praise.

Don’t ever loose your praise, because it is your praise that will release new things.

Be blessed,

With loving regards,

Thy vineyard Ye gave me!

God bless you,

Today I want to tell you that what God has given you is yours. Don’t let no man steal nor buy that from you. Don’t trade wat God has granted you for something else. Ahab asked Naboth if he could have is vineyard. Naboth answered him saying “the Lord forbid it me to give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.” Ahab went home heavy and displeased by the words of Naboth. Ahab laid down upon His bed, and turned away his face and wouldn’t eat. Jezebel his wife asked him about it, and he told her what had happen between him and Naboth. Jezebel said unto him that he can go eat and that she will take care of it. She went to the elders set Naboth up by telling that he blasphemed God and the king. So the stoned Naboth to death. After Jezebel heard it was done she told Ahab that he could have the vineyard. But this didn’t last for long because the Lord sent Elijah the Tishbite to give him the word of the Lord. God dealt with Ahab. (1 Kings 21)

Don’t trade nor take money for what God has given you, if it is your joy, wisdom health or another possession, thy vineyard. A vineyard is a possession of grate worth. Money cannot buy it. Because this saith the word of the Lord in John  15:1-8 KJV

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Isaiah 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

Everything we have God gave it to us, so we must cherish and protect it with our life. It is of grate value. Lets be clear God gave it to you, so cannot throw it away or exchange it for something else. When people try to steal your joy away say no, because the joy of the Lord is my strength. If people tries to steal your peace away, refuse to that and say I will not give my freedom to worship and bless the Lord away. under any circumstance trade what God has given you, it is yours. Use it for good and let fruits grow out of it. (blessings for yourself, or for another) Even if it is sorrow you might keep it for when God change it into a song, the testimony will be yours.

God bless you,

With loving regards,

In stillness God is working.

God bless you,

You know sometimes there is a period in life that is still, you may think what is happening why do I feel so down or you get the feeling something is wrong. I want to tell you that there is nothing wrong with you. Even in stillness God is working. Some days has passed by and I didn’t write you on this blog, I’ve been going trough some time of healing and finding myself. I thought I was down, but in reality God is working on and in me. (I will testify about it when it is accomplish, but it is good and on his way) If you are wondering what I am talking about and how God works in stillness I will gather some examples in the bible that proofs so.

Example 1: Creation of Eve Genesis 2:21-22 KJV  21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Adam was asleep when God took a rib from him. So he didn’t know it is happening in stillness God worked on Him.

Example 2: The calling of Samuel 1 Samuel 3:1-10 KJV 1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. 2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; 3 And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; 4 That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. 5 And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. 6 And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him. 8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child. 9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

The Lord called Samuel when he was asleep. Again in stillness God was working in Him and preparing Him for something bigger.

Example 3: God makes a way where there seems to be none Isaiah 43:19 KJV 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. (there is no clearer explanation that God can and will)

If we read these bible verses we see that rather the people were sleeping nor we/they didn’t know it is happening. (I’m not saying you have to sleep all the time, what I’m saying you have to be prepared and sensitive for God) So when you are going to a period when everything seems down or slow, this doesn’t mean you are purposeless. Sometimes it is even possible that we work to hard, that we need to slow down a nudge and let God recharge us. So don’t panic. You can panic if you realise that your not living according to His will and plans for you. But as long you stick to what God has for you no matter what, remember He will be there with you. And even He makes the way for you, this mean that you have to do the walking. Don’t expect things from God without doing nothing keep praying and worshipping the Lord. You do your part and He will do His.

Be blessed,

With loving regards,
