Lets talk Christ not food!

God bless you,

The signification of Christmas is Christ and I find some translation for mas(s), this stands for celebrating Christ. Christmas without Christ is not Christmas and you would be celebrating someone or something that is not Jesus. Now a days tradition is something that has great influence. We have trees, we have lot of food, Food is something that cannot be missing; you know Turkey – Christmas bread and other related food. It is a time where people gather together to exchange gifts. What about sharing the gift of life? Remembering that Jesus Christ, The Messiah, The Emanuel some call Him Noel is born for us, so we could have life today. Instead of celebrating ourself we need to be celebrating Jesus and put Him more in the centre of this season. It is a season of joy because Jesus was born for us. We come together to gather so we can go upon the House of the Lord and celebrate Jesus. It is all about Christ and will be all about Him. Just talk Christ instead of food.

The birth of Jesus according the gospel of Luke 2:4-20 NIV

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. 8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

If you take a look I don’t read that the shepherds had a feast with lot of food, nice clothes and lot of gifts for Jesus. After spreading the word, they returned in their field clothes went back where Jesus was and they were glorifying and praising God for all thing they heard and seen about this awesome Child. Now I’m not saying you can’t have a tree, or have a nice dinner, nice clothes and other tradition the world is used to.

Reminder: Your priority has to be Christ, not your clothes. Doesn’t matter if you can’t buy new clothes this year. Shop in your own closet. Doesn’t matter if you don’t have a tree or a small one, because in reality non of those matters, what matters is celebrating Christ. So if you can make a conclusion again, it is all about Christ again and over and over again.

Celebrate Christ this Season. Happy Holidays from my family to yours.

God bless you,

With loving regards,

Only Faith can get you a respond..

God bless you,

There are times we are desperate for Jesus to turn things around in our lives. That He heals you, provide for you, to help you out the mess and chaos that is going on around you. Your heart is broken you still can give Him a worship but still it is not enough for Him to change your situation. What is wrong with this? Ha let me tell you this, I recently learned that Jesus is not moved by desperation and He cannot be manipulated by our worship. Don’t get me wrong worship has to be our daily bases, but sometimes we use worship only to create a atmosphere so Jesus can deliver something to us. The bible tells a story of a Canaanite woman in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 15 verses 21 till 28

Matthew 15:21-28 NIV

21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.” 23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” 24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” 25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. 26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” 27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” 28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

In another translation (The message translation) the bible tells the same story using other words it written like this;

21-22 From there Jesus took a trip to Tyre and Sidon. They had hardly arrived when a Canaanite woman came down from the hills and pleaded, “Mercy, Master, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly afflicted by an evil spirit.” 23 Jesus ignored her. The disciples came and complained, “Now she’s bothering us. Would you please take care of her? She’s driving us crazy.” 24 Jesus refused, telling them, “I’ve got my hands full dealing with the lost sheep of Israel.” 25 Then the woman came back to Jesus, went to her knees, and begged. “Master, help me.” 26 He said, “It’s not right to take bread out of children’s mouths and throw it to dogs.” 27 She was quick: “You’re right, Master, but beggar dogs do get scraps from the master’s table.” 28 Jesus gave in. “Oh, woman, your faith is something else. What you want is what you get!” Right then her daughter became well.

Prayer and worship are things we got to have daily in our life. But this is not all you need to have, you got to have faith, even if it is as little as a mustard grain. When you read the story, it says that Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon and that a Canaan woman came unto Him bagging for her daughters life. As we all know you only bag in time of desperation, when you really need something, when it is out of control for you to get it yourself. As you keep reading, after the woman bagged Jesus, Jesus didn’t respond to her. The only thing He replied was that He came for the lost sheep of Israel. Now the woman is in desperation and the only thing Jesus could have replied didn’t make sense to her situation, it had nothing to do with her. The story keep telling us that after this it didn’t stop the woman, she then knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. So she had a prayer a worship because she is kneeling and surrendering all to Jesus, knowing that He is the only one Whom can do everything.

Jesus than said to her; “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” And as for she, she replies back and respond “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

And now it comes, something Jesus couldn’t say no to and couldn’t be still of the woman showed great faith in Him.. After the woman said those word to Jesus He now responded to her according her situation and told her in verse 28;

28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

So the woman was in a crisis, she had a chaos going on it was confusing but still she didn’t give up. She believed, she had faith in which Jesus respond. You can get desperate but this does not mean that Jesus has to move. You can get your worship together bit still it doesn’t manipulate Jesus and does not mean He has to move by it. But when you are desperate and you seek God in worship and with Faith, without giving up, chasing after Him… This is reason enough for Him to respond in your situation.

You know everything you ask in desperation is good to you but is not good for you. So thank God he doesn’t give you the things you ask for in desperation. So Prayer-Worship-Faith the all go together, it’s like peanut butter and jelly. They are one master key for your crisis and chaos.

So be blessed,

With loving regards,

You can get my coat but you’ll never get my favour!

God bless you,

Today I’ll be writing about two young men in the bible. One of them is King David and the other one is Joseph son of Jacob. Why these two men you’ll ask, because they had a similarity. They both wore the youngest brother out of their family and they both were working in the field; King David was tending the sheep and the bible tells us that Joseph along with his brothers were tending flocks. So they both had some common things. The bigger the test, the bigger the blessing. The bigger your trial and war, the greater your anointing in God.

Now this is the story of Joseph Genesis 37:3-10

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made an ornate[a] robe for him. 4 When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him. 5 Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. 6 He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: 7 We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.” 8 His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said. 9 Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” 10 When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?” 11 His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

Joseph was the youngest of his brothers, his father Isarael (Jacob) made him a coat of many colours. When his brothers saw this they were jealous of him. But the more they envy him the more God was adding to Joseph. He was a dreamer and his dreams wore big. (this you can read in the continuing of the story in Genesis 37. His brothers were so jealous the made a plot to kill him. Afterall they didn’t kill him but sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites. But the more they wore dividing Joseph the more God was multiplying in him.

King David was 17 at the time he was anointed. He was tending sheep. He didn’t even know he was going to be King. While tending sheep David had his moments with God. He could sing, David could dance, David was going after Gods heart. His worship was pure. So this is the story of King David 1 Samuel 16:4-13;

4 Samuel did what the Lord said. When he arrived at Bethlehem, the elders of the town trembled when they met him. They asked, “Do you come in peace?” 5 Samuel replied, “Yes, in peace; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrateyourselves and come to the sacrifice with me.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice. 6 When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.” 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 8 Then Jesse called Abinadab and had him pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one either.” 9 Jesse then had Shammah pass by, but Samuel said, “Nor has the Lord chosen this one.” 10 Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, “The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?”

“There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.”

Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.”

12 So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.” 13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.

You will think never-where in this passage you can read that they are jealous of him. But as people it bother them. David was the youngest and was tending sheep you will think he doesn’t know anything about being King. God bypass them and choose David instead of one of them. Everything one can dream about, becoming king and God chose David. If you read Chapter 18 verse 8  “Saul was very angry; this refrain displeased him greatly. “They have credited David with tens of thousands,” he thought, “but me with only thousands. What more can he get but the kingdom?” 9 And from that time on Saul kept a close eye on David. ” Saul became Jealous of David. in the continuing of this chapter their will be more comparison.

So when the favour of God is on you people will start cutting you. They don’t want you near them because you will take away things they longed for in days, months, years maybe even in a decade. You can be rejected, people can even put you out, but this doesn’t matter, because when people put you out, God will take you in.  If left out is the price you have to pay, so God can take you in and put His favour on you gladly. Be grateful to the people who afflicted you, because in you affliction God will glorify Himself and make you strong. When people persecute you, God will make you grow. The more they divide you, the more God will multiply to you. The more people take from you, the more God will add to you.  The more they hate you, the bigger your blessing and anointing.

I don’t know what you want but I know the favour of God is with and on you, so what it is you want eventually God will give it you. So don’t be jealous of the blessing of another. Everything one has, he didn’t get it for free. He had to work hard. Maybe the sold him like they did to Joseph, or put him in the fields to tend sheep, but where ever you are God sees you and knows you. You may been hurt, abused, left out, hurting but God is preparing you for the great and good. Be strong and courages. Wait upon the Lord. People can take everything from you but Gods favour will never get from you. You earned it!

God bless you,

With loving regards,

It might take longer than you planned.

God bless you,

Today I will be writing about Abraham and Sarah. I don’t know what God has promised you, I don’t know how long your are waiting for this promise, before this covenant between you and God realises. But what I do know is that it will happen. Everything God promised you, He will make it happen. Now the question remains have you keep your end of the bargen, have you been faithful to God, are you still moving forward, persevering towards the things God wants from you.. This is the story of Abram – Sarai now called Abraham and Sarah. (father and mother of nations)

The Lord appeared to Abram now Abraham and told him the following Genesis 1b-2; “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. 2 Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.” At this time Abraham was already ninety-nine years old, but still the Lord told him to keep walking faithfully (don’t give up, persevere). And for Abraham as he is walking faithfully before the Lord, He will make an convenant with him. The convenant was that Genesis 4; “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. The story keep telling us in verse 15 God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. 16 I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”

But before this could happen Abraham had to keep a covenant to God. His covenant to keep was that every male that was born out of his generation had to be circumcised. So God will keep his covenant to Abraham as for him, he has to be faithful and let every male born out of his lane be circumcised.

In Genesis 18:10,14

10 Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

As I already told you I don’t know what life has in store for you but I can guarantee you what ever it is and is coming from God, it will be good you will like it and enjoy it. How longer you wait, how better it is what you are getting. God is not cheap in giving. We can get precious and valuable things from God but first, you have to seek the Kingdom of God and everything that is in it. You have to be faithful. Don’t live only to expect something from God. Live without expecting and when you get what it is God has in store for you; it will be like a surprise, a dream come true. Sweet. God is good and all the time God is good. He is the same yesterday, today and in all eternity. So don’t worry. If you want to receive, you have to give back something to God. Let it be your best sacrifice, from the heart.

It doesn’t matter if you wait a month, on year or more. It will happen that is for sure. So be strong and courages, do not be afraid and discouraged. Everything will happen in Gods divine timing. It will get there on time.

God bless you,

With loving regards,

From nobody to be somebody….

God bless you,

In the past days I took some time to reflect over my life. I discover some things I never stood still and realise that is that much of an importance. There are times you may think you are not seen. Nobody recognise you in your work, in what you do best or gives you smile/hug. You may think you are not doing it right or even begin to wonder what function and purpose you have. Jeremiah 1:5 tells me that their is one God that before He formed you in the belly He knew thee; and He sanctified thee an ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Even when you know this, there are times when you get lost.

Even when you read scriptures like these:

Isaiah 43 1-2 KJV 1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

John 15:15 KJV 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

You might heard about these scripture but still when you get yourself in the position to think you are lonely, you are not loved, no one sees you, no one wants to be your friend… You are forgetting about a Father that formed you and knows you. You are forgetting about Jesus whom teach you about God and no longer calls you servant but friend. You know what your focus has changed. You are thinking only about you. Focus on God and you will see a difference and be a difference. You’ll deal with things in a other way than you used to. The Holy Spirit will guide you. So don’t loose your focus and yourself in the process while walking your life path.

You know there is a parable in the scripture about the lost son. Luke 15

The youngest son asked his father for the goods that belong to him. He got it, a few days later he left his house. He went far away where he spent all the goods he received. There was a hunger raising in the land where he was staying. So he went working on a land of one of the habitants. He had to keep the swain. While keeping the swain he ate their food, because of such hunger. Than he realise that the servants of his father that worked for him had in abundance. So he decided to head back home. These are the words of a son and a father:

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

The father throw him a party, he had compassion and was glad he came back home. We loose our focus while going through our journey, but remember: God is grace, He is merciful, He has compassion and He is waiting on you. (this son went from somebody to nobody, to be somebody) Your Heavenly Father loves you no matter what. Even if you decide to abandon Him, He will never leave your sight nor stop looking for you. You are loved, you are a child of God, you are beautiful and you are the best in what you do, because you are you. Don’t shut God out and don’t focus on you, focus on God and you’ll see those feeling of making yourself nobody will change. Because you are somebody. You are worth it.

God bless you,

With loving regards,

God bless you.

His word saith: Go and make all the nations my disciples.  Matthew 28:19-20 KJV

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

NIV: 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Be blessed

You are chosen, this is the time.

God bless you,

I woke up today and was reading a article, this article was talking about that you are chosen and that when you get the chance to speak about the word of God you have to do it. Take the chance. If you don’t know when or how to start, let me give you a head-start. This is the time everyone is gathering together to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and the stay in the mood to celebrate Ney year eve and day. These are nice celebrations, but in reality it is all about Jesus, it started with Jesus. You give thanks and be grateful for all the Lord has done for you, you celebrate Christmas because you remember that story they once told you about Baby Jesus being born (true story), you celebrate New years eve and day because you got to see another year, another chance. God is the one that owns this world and everything in it. He breezes his breathe into you so you might live to see another day. All these moments are a testimony, they all have value and they all include Jesus. This is a nice moment to begin to tell a story of your own. Tell people the real reason you celebrate this moment of the year, why you cherish to moments of laughter and joy when family gather together. It’s not about the present, but it is the present we get from above. This is the season that people put themselves out there to buy present, they are willing to listen about that little story of Jesus being born so use this opportunity to tell the world what this season is about. The bible tells us that Jesus said go and make all the nations my disciple. Go tell them about the good news.

This is the story of Saul and Ananias: Acts 9:1-21 KJV

Saul was against the disciples of the Lord, he threatens and slaughter against them. It didn’t matter if they were men or woman, he would take them bound to Jerusalem. As he journeyed he came near Damascus and suddenly there shined a light out of heaven round about him (verse 3) and Saul fell upon the earth and he heard a voice saying; why are you persecuting thou me.

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

And as for Saul he obeyed and did as the Lord said. And at that time there was a certain disciple called Ananias. God commanded him to go see Saul and for Saul that was praying saw Ananias coming in an laying his hands on Him so he might receive sight. Saul had authority above those who called upon the name of the Lord (14).

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. 19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus. 20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. 21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

Be a Ananias today and do as the Lord tells you to. If it is to spread the word, to do so. There are many Saul that needs their vision/sight back. This is the time to tell them about Jesus and that He was, and is The One, and will be The One that returns. God can use every situation to be a testimony to an others life. This story speaks for it.

My Pastor ones phrase this quote that there is such thing as a divine call to a divine appointment. This is your time. This is the time to get out there and to tell the world that this season is all about Jesus. Stand on the promises God made you. Declare that your the head and not the tail. That you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. That you will fear no evil because the God that is within you is bigger than the devil. God is good. Be open to receive and speak the word of the Lord.

Be blessed,

With loving regards,
