You are chosen, this is the time.

God bless you,

I woke up today and was reading a article, this article was talking about that you are chosen and that when you get the chance to speak about the word of God you have to do it. Take the chance. If you don’t know when or how to start, let me give you a head-start. This is the time everyone is gathering together to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and the stay in the mood to celebrate Ney year eve and day. These are nice celebrations, but in reality it is all about Jesus, it started with Jesus. You give thanks and be grateful for all the Lord has done for you, you celebrate Christmas because you remember that story they once told you about Baby Jesus being born (true story), you celebrate New years eve and day because you got to see another year, another chance. God is the one that owns this world and everything in it. He breezes his breathe into you so you might live to see another day. All these moments are a testimony, they all have value and they all include Jesus. This is a nice moment to begin to tell a story of your own. Tell people the real reason you celebrate this moment of the year, why you cherish to moments of laughter and joy when family gather together. It’s not about the present, but it is the present we get from above. This is the season that people put themselves out there to buy present, they are willing to listen about that little story of Jesus being born so use this opportunity to tell the world what this season is about. The bible tells us that Jesus said go and make all the nations my disciple. Go tell them about the good news.

This is the story of Saul and Ananias: Acts 9:1-21 KJV

Saul was against the disciples of the Lord, he threatens and slaughter against them. It didn’t matter if they were men or woman, he would take them bound to Jerusalem. As he journeyed he came near Damascus and suddenly there shined a light out of heaven round about him (verse 3) and Saul fell upon the earth and he heard a voice saying; why are you persecuting thou me.

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

And as for Saul he obeyed and did as the Lord said. And at that time there was a certain disciple called Ananias. God commanded him to go see Saul and for Saul that was praying saw Ananias coming in an laying his hands on Him so he might receive sight. Saul had authority above those who called upon the name of the Lord (14).

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. 19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus. 20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. 21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

Be a Ananias today and do as the Lord tells you to. If it is to spread the word, to do so. There are many Saul that needs their vision/sight back. This is the time to tell them about Jesus and that He was, and is The One, and will be The One that returns. God can use every situation to be a testimony to an others life. This story speaks for it.

My Pastor ones phrase this quote that there is such thing as a divine call to a divine appointment. This is your time. This is the time to get out there and to tell the world that this season is all about Jesus. Stand on the promises God made you. Declare that your the head and not the tail. That you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. That you will fear no evil because the God that is within you is bigger than the devil. God is good. Be open to receive and speak the word of the Lord.

Be blessed,

With loving regards,
