God bless you,
In an anterior post I wrote about getting more involved with God and getting to the next level. That this is the year to work on your relationship with God and to get closer. Also I did mentioned, that you had leave habits and traditions behind in proces to go higher and deeper with God. When you get involved and show great interest God will respond, react on your interest shown. Did you know that on any action you take, you will get an reaction? Doesn’t matter if it is good or bad. God will react on your action. Sometimes even people will react to them. Be careful what you put into the world, for them to see. Today I will quote some parts of the scripture where you can clearly see the action and reaction part in it. It will be a blessing to your soul and an encouragement for you do better this year.
James 1:19-26 KJV 19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
Verse 25 Action: believe and good deed – Reaction: This man shall be blessed in his deed Verse 26 Action: can’t controle your own tongue and deceive your own heart – Reaction: to this will be that the man’s religion will be in vain.
In James 2 verse 17 the Bible is talking about believe without deeds, without you put in action what you believe or stand for, than your believe will be for nothing.
According the KJV translation: 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Some example of characters the bible is mentioning in the same passage verse 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Action: Abraham believed, he put his faith in God and lived according what was asked from him. Reaction: he was called Friend of God.
Another example is in verse 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? Action: she received the messengers hid them in her house and then waited and send them out another way. Reaction: she was saved by her action.
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
So if you believe and put in action good deeds the reaction of God is that you will be blessed, saved, healed and so on. Your work will not be forsaken.
But if you believe and do nothing the reaction will be dead. Meditate on the scripture day and night, live by it and this year will be a year of great things.
With loving regards,
