The Character.

God bless you,

Today we are taking a look at Psalms 1. written first to the ones whom love to do good and live according to His laws. Than there is an glimpse for the ones who decides to take another path than the one God chose for them. The main sentence and the keyword is in Psalms 1:6. While I’m writing I will explain it to you. Todays writing will be a study of the Character of God based on Psalms 1.

Psalms 1 KJV

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

This is a Psalm that give clear vision between the people who do good and bad. The matter of life and dead.

Psalms 1:1-3 points at the Holiness and the joy of a pious person.

Psalms 1:4-5 talks about the way of the person who decide to live un there own way. It points to the sin and misery of the one who don’t practice the law of the Lord.

Psalms 1:6 The basis and reason for both cases.

The Lord knows by name to those who are his (Nm. 16:5; 2. 2:19), but we know them by their nature. This Psalms begins with Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly. This show that God will bless those who live by the law. When you depart from the ways of the world, this is the first step you’ll set to gain, achieve more wisdom. (Read: Philippians 2:9-11)

When you don’t walk conform God will, everything will turn from bad to worst. This will turn into your demise. The bible tells that the ungodly will perish.

The key of this Psalm is in verse 6.  For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Todays question will be, which character will you take? Which path will you follow? Are choosing for life or are you working to your own demise. Think about it read this Psalm over. Meditate on it. Pray about this topic and self search yourself. Let God finish the good work He started in your life.

God bless you,

With loving regards,
