Today may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:26)

Many times we forget the peace that God offers is the best of peace we can ever have. It is the peace that transcends all understanding. You have to maintain your peace in order to take good decisions. When you loose your peace you can’t think straight, you get stressed and a whole lot can go wrong. But the peace that God offers is a peace that will guard your heart.

The bible teaches us that we don’t need to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God. With other words don’t be afraid for what is about to come; pray about the situation, give thinks praise God in your situation and let your request be known. (Philippians 4:6-7)

Your peace will produce Joy..When your troubled your mad and maybe have angerment issues.. But when you have the peace of the Lord; when hard times comes no one can understand how you that calm and can still laugh about God his greatness.

Before yo knew God you worked hard, you tried everything to make everything going. There maybe even times you had to consult a psychologist because emotionally you were burdened. You didn’t even know where to go.

Now you Jesus, the saviour the One who came to set an example, the One that has been crucified and resurrected again. He left the world leaving you with a Counselor, The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit if you listen to Him can give you an exact indication when your tired, when to leave things in Gods hands and when you need to take a rest.

But what the problem now seems to be is. You are used to handle your own problems, you are used to work hard to make life going, you are used to take care of others but you forget all about yourself. Sometimes it can even bring depression, sickness or sometimes even spiritual death because you r to often busy and don’t take the proper time with God.

Bible says in Matthew 11:28, 29b

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”
29  ………”for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Now this is an invitation you can’t let go. Let God help you, ask God to lighten your burdens. Take a vacation if necessary, do things that make you feel relief and that will renew your strengths. Trust God with any situation because He can handle it.

You know what? God knows you need rest so He himself will lead you beside quiet waters and will refresh your soul.

psalm 23;2-3

Psalms 23:2-3 NIV
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.

This morning it’s going to be subtile subject but it is important that it is out there. First statement I will make is that we don’t follow men, we follow God. You affiliate at church not to follow the Pastor but so the Pastor can teach you how to follow God. The Pastor is just a (“humble”) servant that will water that seed that has been planted in you. That seed that motivate you at first to want more of God, to look for Him. All the miracles that happens in church, deliverance, breakthrough it is not the Pastors, leader, deacons doing… It is the Lord, the Spirit of God through them. They are being simply used for the service in the Kingdom of God. This is the ministry and purpose they are called for. There are different callings. (1 Corinthians 12:28) God is the one who called them.

Now you must respect your Pastor, leaders and deacons and honor them, appreciate them that they answered to the calling of God but their reward comes from God. What God started in you, He will finish it. Bible doesn’t say; God started it and men will finish it.. God is the Author and Maker of the whole creation.

1 corinthians 3;6-9

In 1 Corinthians 3:4-9 the bible says:

For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

Humility is required in the service of God. Bible says in John 3:30 NIV 30 He must become greater; I must become less. Stay humble in Gods service.

The royal Kingdom of God!

This morning I want to encourage you with this; Do not settle for less than you deserve.

Prince and princess in the real life has people that serve them and respect them. Now as Christians we have Pastors, Deacons and Leaders that serve us the word, but you also have brothers and sisters that serves each other with their talents and gifts. Respect is something that God requests from us (Matthew 7:12) vs.12  says explicit “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

More verses:
1 Peter 2:17 “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.”

As people you should be loved for who you are, don’t permit that people love you in their own way. Don’t ever think this is what I deserve I don’t deserve better… God promised you the best. Don’t stick around because you’ll think that you are gonna stay alone. You are never alone. God has you.

Always be prepared to be moved and guided into the greater things God has in store for you. I’ll take an example out of the scripture. In Genesis 41 Bible talks about Joseph the dream interpreter. Pharaoh had been having dreams for days and no one could interpret these. So he order his people to get him Joseph so he could explain these dreams to him. Joseph told him what God meant with these dreams. This is the reason why Joseph was put in charge over Egypt. But in verse 40 bible says;”40 You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.” Now God has left us in charge on this earth, we been given authority over darkness and we should do what God ordered us but always remembering that He is greater than us. He is the King of kings , The Almighty, The Strong Tower..
There is no greater God!
romans 8;14-17

Well that was the story of Joseph (Joseph was taken in after his brothers throw him in the well); now this is our story. God has taken us in, we received forgiveness and He transformed us, in fact He adopted us..

Bible says in Romans 8:14-17 NIV

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

In labor pain!

Today I want to take the comparison of the pain that a mother has to suffer before giving birth and likened it with the pain we have to suffer before giving birth to our purpose or to make our purpose come into his full fulfilment.

Bible says that God said to Jeremiah that before I formed they I knew ye. God knows you before you were born. God has planted the seed of purpose before you were born. God needs your life to fulfil the purpose He has planted in you.

Now a mother suffers a lot of pain; yes that is thru (Genesis 3:16), but for the baby it is painful as well. The baby has to go into position to be born, there has to be someone doctor or midwife that helps the mother through to process. The baby has to come out with his head and than they have to pull him a little at his head to help to process. Finally when he is out, they have to check and run test before he can lay warm on the mothers chest. The baby goes from one world to another. That is scary..

ezekiel 16;3-7

Sometimes we have to suffer pain; we have to go through painful stuff before we can realise that it is all to set and catapults us in our purpose. For me I can say I suffered a lot not sure actually if I won’t suffer anymore but I know that my pain will serve my purpose to bless another in order for God to be glorified.

and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Jerusalem: Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite. On the day you were bornyour cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths. No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised.

“‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!”[a] I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.

 

This morning God has seen you laying there in your own struggles and He says to you Live…Live (verse 6) God sees the potential in you.

Hope this is something to help you not to focus on the pain because bible says also in

John 16:21New International Version (NIV)

21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.

Today we keepin’ it short. Its easy said than done but if you are born again that means your covered in the perfect love of God. God is love and is the God of all power. Where God’s presence is darkness has to go. Where God’s love is than He casting out fear.

If God is for you; who can be against you? If The God that lives in you is bigger than the outworld why fear. God has you, is constantly watching over you and says: It’s gonna be ok. You don’t have nothing to fear. Bible says that the one that fear is not made perfect in love!!

1 john 4;18

 

1 John 4:18 NIV

18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Be blessed. And whatever your facing; Believe and know that God’s love is casting out fear. I’m a living proof to this and will testify about it in an other occasion!

Today I’ll write this to you; If you have been praying for a job, healing, deliverance or something else that that requires your faith in God then the next thing I’ll write to you is that if you have faith and you don’t accompanied it with action then you will not see results.

Example 1: If you need a job and you’ve been praying about it and your just laying on the couch, watching tv and app’ing friends around for nights out…. this is not a active attitude that say’s I’m praying for a job and I need a job. You cannot just stay inside and wait upon the Lord. If you don’t get out there than you cannot see opening doors for you.
Luke 5:1-11 NIV Simon was working (fishing) he worked the whole night but didn’t catch anything but then Jesus came to him the following happend;

“Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. Simon had faith and believed God.

Example 2: If you need healing and healing is offer to you but for any reason you decide to not accept medicine that helps controle the sickness than you don’t want healing. You have been praying but your not willing to take the first step.

I know you can tell me about the woman that had a blood issue for twelve years she tried every doctor spend every resource but it didn’t help she needed Jesus. But she didn’t only pray, she tried hard enough to have an encounter with Jesus. So Jesus was passing by there was a multitude but it didn’t stop her. She stretched and touch the garment of His robe. She put her faith in action. She didn’t sit and wait around she took the first step!

Example 3: You need deliverance, your praying God but your not willing to let go from the past and the things that been holding you captive. You pray everyday but doesn’t want to come to church to receive help. How is that faith working so far??

As people we give satan the opportunity to ask you where is your God. He says he provides, heals and deliver… but we as humans don’t put work, action into it.

Willingness combined with faith will drive you into going after your job, healing and deliverance!

James 2;17

 

James 2:17 NIV says;

17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

God is able!

Today I will write about trials you go through and you have the feeling that it lasts for ever or that your faith sometimes gets questioned.

You know trials are there so you can learn something, to bring you to the next level and it is also designed to make you stronger. (so aslong as you don’t learn something you will keep confront the same trial over and over) As it come to your faith you have to know who your God is and that He is able to deliver you from whatever situation you may encounter yourself in!

I love to use the quote; ‘If God brought me to it, He surely will bring me through it’ God does tempt me beyond I can bear. 1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV
“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

The story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego tells us that King Nebuchadnezzar was furious with rage when he summoned these three. He had heard that they refuse to bow down for the god of gold King Nebuchadnezzar has made. So when they were tempted they choose God. ( I cal it temptation because I see it the same way as when Jesus was lead by the spirit in the dessert and was tempted by satan to worship him) So they refused and Nebuchadnezzar called some strong soldiers to bound these three; Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to throw them in the blazing furnace that was seven times hotter. You God is faithful He didn’t just save them but He came down Himself in the fire with them. This saids allot. God will not only deliver you but He will be with you. (this story is written in Daniel 3:13-30)

God is able; is your trust putted in Him? God is able to deliver you from pain, from trials, from sickness, from bondage, from every situation.. He has an army ready that will break every chain so you can go freely. God is able; He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20)

On this morning I want to ask you if you are still running in the race? I want to encourage you to stay in the race. If by any chance you stepped out, get back in and keep running.

Galatians 5:7 NIV
You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?

I know that sometimes you feel like running in vain or maybe you don’t even know why you are running. Well let met tell you, you are running from sin (that’s good) and your maybe running from hinders (that’s good too)

Hebrew 12:1 NIV
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Romans 5:3 NIV
Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

This morning just making sure also that you’re persevering. Instead of focussing on the suffering; focus on on God and the prize you can get at the end of your race.

You know what question the bible asks us in 1 Corinthians 9:24 NIV
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Did you read that: do you know that? Did you see the advice that followed? It says “Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

I’m in despite of everything I went through and everything that is happing now.. It’s all for a good cause. Join me and get in this race with me.

He upholds you!

Today I just want to make sure that you don’t forget that the Lord will uphold you.

Even when trials come, even if the situation is so serious, even when you don’t see a way out and even if you stumble God will uphold you with His hands.

The Lord is graceful and merciful. He says in His word that he will make firm the steps of those who delights in Him.

Know who your God is; know that He will not forsaken you. Praise & worship Him while you are confronting trouble. Did you know that God lives in the praise and worship of His people? Yes, He does.. (Psalm 22:3) So when you need God to help you overcome trouble praise Him, He will be their. Praise draws the attention of God when it is real, when it comes from a pure heart that knows who God is and what He is able to accomplish.

You know what, you may think it easier said than done! But you know I have been there and if your spiritual life is strong your flesh cannot overcome because you know whom to turn to and who to trust when your stumbling.

Don’t go anywhere without God. Before you make the decision to move and to do something; pray about it and let God order your steps. Because He will make them firm steps.

23 The Lord makes firm the steps
    of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
    for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
