Rest in the Lord.

God bless you,

Before yo knew God you worked hard, you tried everything to make everything going. There maybe even times you had to consult a psychologist because emotionally you were burdened. You didn’t even know where to go.

Now you Jesus, the saviour the One who came to set an example, the One that has been crucified and resurrected again. He left the world leaving you with a Counselor, The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit if you listen to Him can give you an exact indication when your tired, when to leave things in Gods hands and when you need to take a rest.

But what the problem now seems to be is. You are used to handle your own problems, you are used to work hard to make life going, you are used to take care of others but you forget all about yourself. Sometimes it can even bring depression, sickness or sometimes even spiritual death because you r to often busy and don’t take the proper time with God.

Bible says in Matthew 11:28, 29b

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”
29  ………”for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Now this is an invitation you can’t let go. Let God help you, ask God to lighten your burdens. Take a vacation if necessary, do things that make you feel relief and that will renew your strengths. Trust God with any situation because He can handle it.

You know what? God knows you need rest so He himself will lead you beside quiet waters and will refresh your soul.

psalm 23;2-3

Psalms 23:2-3 NIV
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.

Be blessed. Take good care of yourself!

With loving regards,
