A part of deliverance.

God bless you,

Today I wanna tell you this. Sometimes in order for you to receive deliverance you must forgive someone that hurt you. Sometimes it will take away your breath only by thinking you have to forgive someone that hurt you so badly. Forgiveness is necessary for you to be free. It doesn’t say anything about the person it says more about you. It says: “I’m ready to move on”, “I refuse to stay stuck in the past”, “I refuse to live in bondage because something that has been done to me”.. Sometimes it may sound selfish but you have to choose for yourself and the kind of relationship you want to have with God.

The bible says in Matthew 6:15 That if we don’t forgive others their sins, our heavenly Father will not forgive us our sins. So in order to be free and delivered from sin you must forgive someone that hurt you but you have to forgive yourself also. You can’t ask from God to forgive you if your not willing to forgive yourself!

You may ask how many times you should forgive. It is a question that has been asked before. Peter asked Jesus how many times he should forgive his brothers and sister in Matthew 18:21 and Jesus replied ” up to seventy-seven times”. Reconcile with your brother and sister now that you have the time. If you have to forgive your mom because she gave the feeling of never being enough forgive her. If you have to forgive a uncle of molesting forgive him. It may sound difficult and heart but this is for your own good this is your healing, your deliverance.

matthew 6;15I can remember forgiving someone. I couldn’t even think straight of what I will do if I saw this person the next time I see her, because of what she has done. She was a member of the church, taking part of the dance group I was leading and we even worked at the radio station together. So she knew that the man she was flirting and sending text messages to was spoken for. I already had my suspicion till it came out to the light what was going on.. I was angry, didn’t feel any love, compassion nor forgiveness flowing through me. (I hated her) In one word I couldn’t function. One week later on the Sunday the spirit of the Lord spoke to me that I had to go the her and forgive her. I can remember myself in tears hugging her for what she has done. But in reality it was what I have done.. I judge her even contempt her, that day I was deliver from all that what was wrong and corrupted my love, my trust, my praise. I was free, I was functioning again.

Be blessed.

A grateful praise

God bless you,

Today I want you just to join me and be thankful for what God has done in your life. If you reflect back I’ll hope that you will find out that you are not where you started. Be grateful to God for life, for family, for loyal friends, for great leaders, pastors and a whole spiritual family at the church you attend.

When it is thanksgiving it is great to get together with family and share with each other while eating but don’t forget that this is the day that the Lord has made and that you have to be grateful to Him first. So I’ll encourage before you go straight to the eating look up a church where they celebrate Jesus and join the Thanksgiving service they have. You will find out there so much to be thankful for. Be grateful that you can read this post, you have sight.. Be grateful for people pouring into you. Be grateful for your house. Just be grateful for what you have, don’t think about you have. It may not be much what you have but you could have had less then what you have.

The psalmist David said in Psalm 138:1-3

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
    before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
I will bow down toward your holy temple
    and will praise your name
    for your unfailing love and your faithfulness,
for you have so exalted your solemn decree
    that it surpasses your fame.
When I called, you answered me;
    you greatly emboldened me.

grateful

In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

It is the will of the Father that we give thanks in all circumstances. Give God your best praise today. Worship Him like never before.

Thank you Jesus for this day, thank you strengthen me, thank you for never forsaken me, thank You for Your love, for Your mercy, for Your grace, for the blood You shed, for the miracles You’ve been working in my life. Thank You for turning my sorrow into dance. Thank You for who You are and who You will continue to be. Your faithfulness is the assurance that You will never change.. You are the same yesterday, today and in all eternity. Thank you Jesus for friends and family, thank You for people you use to help make me bolder, better, like You want me to be. This all is the biggest gift You have given me. Thank You for the Holy Spirit You sent to be my Counsel, my Guidance.. You are my everything Jesus. I celebrate You.

Before eating any ham and the crucifixion of any turkey I will praise you. Because if was not for You, I wouldn’t even be here to enjoy all those things You have provide and granted me on this day.

Be blessed and happy holidays.

A vital life..

God bless you,

This morning I want to remember you why it so important that we are constantly talking to God. (praying) When you pray doesn’t necessarily mean you have to ask for something. You can be grateful and thankful for what God is doing. Grateful for life because this was not promised to you it is by His grace..Grateful that He will never forsaken you, give your praise to God, Exalt Him, Glorify Him… Now a days we have a attitude that when we need something we know what prayer means. Prayer is not a option to get out of trouble. Sometimes prayer brings relief, you can see with clarity a way out all that stress has covered with darkness. You now have hope.

For Paul praying was not a option it was a vital question. Paul writes in
1 Thessalonians 5:17 that we must pray without ceasing..Also in the book of Romans chapter 12:12 he says:” Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” When your faithful to something you can also say you are committed to it.. Commit yourself in prayer. Talk to God about everything. There is nothing you can say to God that He already didn’t know about.

Ephesians 6;18

You must be driven by the Holy Ghost to connect with the Father, it is not a routine it is a act inspired and driven by the Holy Ghost.
Ephesians 6:18 says “ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

If you look at Jesus, He was disciplined in prayer. His ministry begun with praying and fasting. Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

The first church in acts 2:42 lived in a atmosphere of praying;They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

We must be constantly in prayer. Prayer builds us up. When you pray you are keeping the line of communication between you and God open. Remember that when you communicate with someone you have to give them the space to reply back. Give God the chance to answer back to you.

Be blessed.

A blended family.

God bless you,

Today I want to encourage you to be an example to the outworld where racism still habits. If we only set the example inside the church as part of the Body of Christ than we can help contribute something positive to the world. I make this statement because even inside the 4 walls of the building we have preferences whom we will sit next to or which nationality (kind of people) We must start with ourself. You can’t really say I love if you have something against the color, the nationality, the habits or whatever other problem you have! Jesus said love thy neighbour as you love yourself. (Matthew 22:39) If you can’t love upon this person you can’t love God. God is love. We are a blended family inside the walls of the building where we come together and become the church. Different persons and identity with different struggles!

Despite color God created us in His image and in His likeness. You will never hear God say you can’t come to me because you are American, Antillean, Afro-American or Asian. God set repend from your sins, come to me and get baptised. (Acts 2:38) When God sent Jesus He didn’t sent Him for only one nationality He sent Him for the whole world to get saved.

hebrew 9;22

God is a God of justice, a loving God, a forgiving God, a merciful God, a gracious God… Name it He created the heavens and the earth.

Hebrews 9:14-15,22 saids;

14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,[c] so that we may serve the living God!

15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Everything must be cleansed with the blood. When we come to repentance we doesn’t belong anymore to the world nor the different Nationalities that exists. We now are citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven we all have the same Person we look up to; His name is Jesus Christ, The Saviour!

Come out, wherever you are…

God bless you,

Today I’ll write about the fact that disobedience sometimes cause you to hide and in the process cause a storm for those around you. I’ll give 2 biblical example and 1 natural example of this matter in the rest of my writings.

First example is out of the story of Adam and Eve. Now you probably know their story.. Eve did ate from the forbidden tree and afterwards gave Adam to eat from it as well. Than in Genesis 3:8 the bible says they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden but they hid themselves because the were naked. Adam and Eve were disobedient toward God, they went hiding from God but knew where they where at. The Lord God said there will be enmity between thy seed and her seed. And so we can read in chapter 4 that Eve conceived Cain and Abel and that Cain murdered Abel. Because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve there was a storm going on in their family line.

jonah 1

The 2nd example is the story of Jonah (1). God’s voice came to Jonah and said unto Him: “ Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.” vs. 2. But instead of doing so Jonah fled to Tarshish and went to Joppa where he found himself a ship and went on board. Jonah was hiding from the presence of God. But God already knew what Jonah was up to so He sent a great wind that cause a storm. This storm was made to break down the ship. As for Jonah he didn’t help the mariners. He went down in the ship and sleep. The came unto him and said why aren’t you helping and prayin’ to your god to cause this storm to pass? As you can read in the story they cast a lot to see who is the one that causes that evil upon them. They started to ask Jonah all kind of question but whence they heard that he was a Hebrew they knew he was fleeing from God’s presence. At first they didn’t know what to do but then Jonah said it is my fault that this is happening throw me off board and the storm will pass. The man prayed God for their lives but they didn’t want to have the blood on their hands neither. They threw Jonah off board and God had a big fish prepared to swallow Jonah where he was for 3 days and night. After this God gave Jonah a second chance.

Today you can pray ask forgiveness and let God give you a second chance. Doesn’t matter where you have been at, what you have done. God is ready to redeem you, to set you free and to prepare you and order your steps for the greater.

Now a days in church you get a task, but you are not that happy with it. You can’t settle because it is not what you want. You get a attitude, cause disturbance and cause a whole team to get against each other, a whole group can fall apart because of this attitude. Please be obedient in the position God has placed you. If you can handle little God will multiply and at more unto you. You will get a promotion. In God’s Kingdom we must be humble in whatever we to an get rit of bad attitudes. Rebellious attitude, a attitude that says I know better, because it wil cause you to fall hard.

If you have been here and you walked out from church, God is seeking you to give you a second, maybe third, forth…. chance. To be obedient.

I hope you have been blessed.

God as the Adviser

God bless you,

Today I want to encourage you that whatever plan you have commit this to the Lord. (Proverbs 16:3) If you had a plan and it didn’t work out try again! (Job 17:10-12) Many are the plans you can have but the purpose of God will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21) You may have tried so hard to figure out what your purpose is, or how to fulfil the plans you have so they can lead to succes. Well there is good news!

If you want to succeed you need God as your adviser, He can appoint you to successful people who can give you a boost in your plans. (Proverbs 15:22) God Himself is a planner (the Planner) and He is also a contractor (the Contractor), so whatever plan you may have to re-figure, building you have to construct, room in your life you have to let God deal with…He is able. He will not tell you “I’m busy”, He would like to get His hands on you only with your permission to fix whatever needs to be fixed.

jeremiah 29;11_edit

Jeremiah 29:11 the Lord says
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

That is it right there, everything you need He has. He planned it all out. He figure it all out before you were born..(Jeremiah 1:5)

So it is done!!!

Be blessed.

Get in!!!

God bless you,

Today I just want to encourage you to get in with God. When you do business with God it will benefit you. The bible says in Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of year heart. So when you get in with God, He will also get in with you.

psalm 37;4

In Psalm 145:19 the bible also says that those who fear Him, their desires will be fulfilled.

19 “He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
    he hears their cry and saves them.”

So delight yourself in Him, fear Him and you desires will be fulfilled. God says that we must seek His kingdom first and everything else will be added unto you.

Be blessed.

Your Refuge..

God bless you,

Today I want to share Psalm 18:2 with you. Is says the following; “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield[a] and the horn[b] of my salvation, my stronghold.” God is your refuge. Many times when you find ourself in your deepest and darkest you may try different things as a distraction of your real and current situation. You want to run as far as you can, you will try to forget and pretend it is not happening, forgetting that God has His own shelter. God can take you in, give you some clean clothes to put on and give you place where you can place your head on a pillow at night.

As human being into this dark world you may think party, drinking, drugs sex and sometimes after this period you feel even more guilty, ashamed of your actions, you may get depressed and even try to consider ending your life because of that moment where you feel naked and covered in dirt.

psalm 18;2
Today I want to tell you this doesn’t need to be this way, there is an other way. God has His own shelter where you can take refuge. The bible says in Deuteronomy 33:27 “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, ‘Destroy them!’”

Isaiah 4:6 It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain.

You can take refuge in the Lord.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia

Depend on God..

God bless you,

In todays writing I’ll be talking Proverbs 3:5-8 as the foundation for the study. The first sentence of verse 5 says; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; vs.6 in all your ways submit to himand He will make your paths straightDo not be wise in your own eyesfear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

It is in our human nature that sometimes we choose to trust in our own understanding, knowledge this due the free will God gave us to choose between the wrong and the right. Now when you come to Jesus, you are practically saying I’m leaving my habits, my human nature and I’m excepting this new way of thinking. For example if you thought “borrowing” money of someone without asking and without paying and giving it back.. this is in fact stealing. Now the bible says in the
10 commandments that you shall not steal from one and other.
(Ex. 20:15) That is why the ways we used to think must be transformed.

Today the bible is telling me/you that we should not lean on our own understand, that we must trust the Lord. That we must submit all our ways to God and He will direct our paths. Fear God and shun evil, for this is good for your health and it will nourishment to your body. This must be the new way of thinking.

proverbs 3;5-7

Jeremiah 17:5-8 puts it this way:

This is what the Lord says:

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
    who draws strength from mere flesh
    and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
    they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
    in a salt land where no one lives.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
    whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
    that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
    its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
    and never fails to bear fruit.”

Be blessed.

Devouring the lion..

God bless you,

Today I want to encourage you to keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. Right now is not the time to loose your head over stuff that don’t really matter. (ex. if someone called you stupid, rebuke these words cause you ain’t stupid and know who you are in God there is no time to pick a fight or to feel down, cause God made you perfectly fine) Sometimes we are to eager to say something back.

The devil has his ways to crawl into your head and uses humans to poison you, this is why you have to stay vigilant. Beside the devil there are also people walkin’ around looking to break you. They don’t like you, they are close but they are just waiting and looking for you to do something wrong so you can be punished.

1 peter 5;8

If you read in Daniel chapter 6 you’ll see that Daniel was good and special. Daniel was put as one of the administrators over the 120 satraps that Darius had appointed. But than in verse 3 the bible says “ Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.” Because of this the other 2 administrators tried to find ground, something in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They couldn’t find anything that is basic in this function to catch him on, he was trustworthy. They thought if they can’t find anything there lets try to find something that has to do with the law of his God.

These 2 administrator got it together and convince Darius that for the next thirty days no other god shall be serve than he himself and if some someone did that this person shall be thrown in the cave of den with lions. So King Darius put the decree in writing. (vs. 6-9) Then Daniel heard about this decree, he went home and has he used to do he prayed 3 days a day. He prayed, the group went up to his house and caught him praying, they went to king Darius to tell him, he was distressed. He didn’t want to throw Daniel in the den with lions. But he signed the decree so he answered the call and gave orders to go get Daniel. (vs. 10-16)

You can read the rest of the chapter; “will resume it”

Daniel was thrown into the cave, it was sealed with a big rock. But king Darius could not eat nor sleep over the fact that Daniel was in the cave with lions. But our God, the God of Daniel was with him, he shut the mouth of the lions. Daniel was alive without a scratch. King Darius went to visit and said “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “May the king live forever!” King Darius rejoiced over the fact that Daniel was alive. The ones who falsely accused Daniel where throw into the fire. The lions ripped them apart the instance the were thrown into the fire. King Darius made a new decree;

26 “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel.

“For he is the living God
    and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
    his dominion will never end.
27 He rescues and he saves;
    he performs signs and wonders
    in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
    from the power of the lions.”

Daniel prospered. You can prosper.

Be blessed.

S.Domitilia
