God bless you,
This morning I want to ask you if you ready for God to bring you to the next level. You have to be willing for God to change you, transform you and bring you further in the purpose He has for you. I want to base this on the story of Zacchaeus.
You see Zacchaeus was not for coincidence at the scene the moment Jesus was entering Jericho, it was meant to be. Zacchaeus had only one problem. He was short, he couldn’t see over the multitude so he decides to find himself a sycamore tree to climb in so he could see Jesus. When Jesus was at the spot and He saw him in the tree He commanded Zacchaeus to come down and announced to him that He was going to stay at his house. If you know the story you’ll find out that Zacchaeus is the head tax-collecter so their may even be some things that couldn’t went wrong as stealing. Because he apologises to Jesus saying if he had stolen from someone he would pay it back up to four times.
Zacchaeus can represent one of us in daily life. The willingness of him despite his errors caused Jesus to say to him I’m coming over to your house. We are going to eat and sort some things out how things will go one from here. It doesn’t matter what mistakes you have been makin’ all that matters is that you want to know Him that badly and at cost of anything that it causes Him give you a change and bring you to the next level.
This story is told in Luke 19:1-10
In verse 9 and 10 you can read the following; 9 Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Salvation can come to your house as well if you are willing to meet Jesus. Jesus wants an encounter with you but is not gonna force it on you. The choice is yours to make. This is the beginning of a next level for Zacchaeus, a deeper relationship with Jesus.
My advice will be don’t wait much longer to meet this awesome Person (Jesus) who will accept you as you are and help to transform you and bring you into light. The words says that the plans He has for you is not to harm you but to prosper you. Isn’t that awesome.
With loving regards,
