God bless you,
Today I want to talk about the fact that many times we use this sentence without realising that the will of God not always needs to be something that is good for you but is something that will give glory to Him. Example you see Jesus said; “Father if it is your will…” Jesus came to earth to die so we don’t have to.. It was a painful dead, at a certain point in one of the books that tells the evangelic history you can read that Jesus was so nervous that He begun to sweat drops of blood. He knew what was going to happen but He went down without fighting because He knew the will of God must be completed. This is the perfect will of God
If we look at ourself many times we tell God; “God your will be completed” and when you are in middle of the will and you find out it is not pleasant it is not what you expected, you begin to rebel against the will of God. (Romans 13:1-2) You want to do your will and a little bit of God’s will. You want to serve God in your own way. You see the bible says in Romans 12:2 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
So you must be transformed in your thinking for you to be able to understand what God’s perfect will is for your life. King David said in Psalm 40:8 8 “I desire to do your will, my God;your law is within my heart.” Now we have been learned the Heavenly father prayer in Matthew 6, in vs 10 it says 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. So it is not our own will but it is His will that must be completed.
It is necessary to ask God for His will to be completed in your life. You see you can be to caught up working hard for a promotion at work, missing your services because you have to work. This is not God’s will, it is a good thing to work and to get a promotion but it is another thing when you don’t visit your services anymore and another to loose your relationship with God because your to tired after work to take time with God or before you leave the house. Pay attention that you never loose focus on what is important God. God must be and stay the #1 priority in your life. Taking care of the kids is a good thing but sometimes you need that little spot in your house where you go meet God so He can refresh you before you shut down.
I just want to give you 2 verses before closing;
– Psalm 143:10 “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”
– Romans 15:30-32 ” 30 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. 31 Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people there, 32 so that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.”
With loving regards,
