God bless you,
Today I want to talk to you about the struggles of life. Every struggle has a name, maybe your struggling with pain, depression, loss, guilt whatever it is your struggling with. It is a good thing you are still struggling/fighting and pressing forward. You may think why did she just said that it is good to struggle; well let me just say the struggle you are in today will develop the strength you’ll need tomorrow. The true meaning of struggling is to make a forceful or violent effort to get free of restraint or resist attack. In my opinion this mean that you are willing to break free from whatever is holding you back and to make progress.
Let me tell you a little testimony:
I’m a only child, grew up with my mom but we didn’t always get along with each others opinions. You could say I was a little rebels and wanted to do things always my way, so I did. So far I have a good life and got always what I wanted and what I needed. Though I was in my rebellious stage at some point I found out last year that I was not only living for God but also to the opinion what My mom wanted me to become. I was trying to live up to her opinion something that had a hold on me. Last year in October my mom was diagnosed with cancer. It is spreading fast. Right now I have the chance to put everything God thought me to practice and also He is giving me the chance and strength to take care of my Mom. My family and I decided to move in with her and take care of her as long as needed. It feels good to have a bond and take care of her. But while I’m doing this my mind is spinning and I’m thinking the church is like a hospital where sick people come to get healing, restoration, a new chance and to be taken care of.. So even now that I’m in a pretty rough time God is still prepping for the greater. Actually two days ago I got a call of one of the leaders, deacons of my church asking me, that if in case she has to leave that I’d be willing to lead the dance group. My response was yes, whatever God says I should do I’ll do if it is ok with the Pastor of the congregation I’ll do it. (I’m still waiting on the answer of this maybe task and role I’ve to fill….But beside that this is whats happening right now so that is why you’ll experience a little absence on the blog, but I will make sure to post something that will help you in your situation as well)
When you are struggling doesn’t mean you are failing. Every great succes requires some level of struggle to get there. You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it!
Even if your hurting and going to trial, there is always something to learn. I’m still learning. Even tho I have pain in my heart, I’ll cling to hope that whatever God has coming it will be for the Greater. It will be to give Him glory with. It will be to exalt His name and testify to the world of His greatness. Something else I learned is that when you have the feeling that you need someone the most, it is not them you need but it is God. When you think you need someone the most, they are not available you’ll get disappointed but it is just God telling you that you’ll need people but when you need someone the most is because you need God Himself.
For this is what the bible says in Romans 5:3-5
3 Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
I love you God, through it all I will bless your name. You are the author of life. And I know for sure that every plan you have for me is not to harm me. So whatever it is I’ll follow.. Thank you for the Holy Spirit, You left be behind to serve as our comforter.
With loving regards,
