clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?”
Hey there todays writing will be short.
I just want to zoom in on the fact that people can get hurt by helping and investing (spiritual or financial) in others. Now don’t get me wrong at all time you need to help your brothers and sisters out. You see sometimes you can invest a lot of time in a person it seems like he is getting it and turns out doing the opposite (disappointment). Of course this person is hurt and is thinking “I should’ve listen” but it is to late and comes back at you asking for your help. Now this is not the first time, it happened a numerous of time before. You are also hurt or maybe even upset cause this person didn’t listen to what you were saying. Though the question still remains, “what would you do, what should I do, what does the word say” etc.. What will your answer be? Sometimes it better to keep silent and pray for a person than to spend hours of counsel/advice. By praying you are also helping the person, cause they need clarity to see and hear from God for themselves.
Matthew 7:6 “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”
Sometimes you can feel exhausted, drained spiritually and without a clue were it is coming from. Research the ground where you’ve been investing. Is it worth the time?
God bless you,
Today I’m writing about a matter that’s been addressed to me by the saints of God. The building of gathering is not the church, as different as we are and as unique as we were created, together we form the church. When something happens to you and you don’t like it pray about it, be the change and rise above it.
Examples: whenever there is a conflict (of interest) I keep calm, I pray and I ask God to help me. Don’t judge sometimes I get addressed in a certain way, that other people question themselves why do I accept that. (with attitude or a poor language) And as in my turn I don’t reply in the same way, I keep calm and address the issue as the bible puts it with peace, gentleness and self-control Galatians 5:22 This doesn’t mean I don’t get angry but I don’t act out of anger I pray that God’s power and Holy Spirit can change the situations and my feelings that I have at the time. By saying this whenever people approach you in a certain way it does not have anything to do with you but everything to do with the condition of the other party involved.
When feelings come up you need to analyse is this coming from God or is this coming from my own human flesh and desires. Peoples actions can affect you but it can’t separate you from God’s love. In some experiences you can choose to see to good perspective or the bad (I choose to see the good). If you focus on the bad only bad decision and actions will proceed. I quoted a while ago, “People see faults and flaws in others whenever they become a threat to their own life”.
There is no reason in church that can stop me from going to church, lets say:
The bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:8-11: 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.
This means in order for people to see Christ through you, you need to pay the price. You will experience things, but don’t harden your heart. Pray and let God reveal His plan and purpose for you in the matter. Opinion of others can not cause you to stop doing what God has called you to do. Keep pressing, rise above everything that is holding you back.
I pray that God’s power and Holy Spirit will change and reveal to you the reason why you are experiencing these things. God is ready for your next level are you?
Todays writing will be taken out of Luke 2:40 and 1 Samuel 2:26. In both scripture the bible says the Child/child grew and became strong; He/he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on Him/him. Now Luke is talking about Jesus and and the first book of Samuel is talking about Samuel and his childhood. To be a minister of God takes process and will always be process. To be a minister of God means serve the people of God. You are never outlearned, you follow the commands of God, obedience is a great key to being a minister, you need to live Holy in all your ways, you have the responsibility to care for the sheep God entrusted you with. There are 5 essential keys to be a minister of God. 1) You need to be born of God (this means being baptised by water and baptised by the Holy Spirit), 2) you need to be called, 3) you need to be prepared, 4) you need to be ordained and last but not least you need to be 5) send to do the work.
First example out of the scripture: Samuel.
As you Hannah was married to Elkanah who was also married to Penninah. Penninah had childeren but Hannah didn’t her womb was closed. She couldn’t bear a child, but she knew someone who can grant her the petition she had. Hannah prayed (1 Samuel 1:10- 12). Hannah was granted the petition of her heart, the scripture says the Lord remembered her (1 Samuel 1: 19-20). Hannah brought the child to Eli who was the priest of the temple and left him there (1 Samuel 1:27-28). – Samuel was born out of God, Hannah says because I asked God for him, a woman who could’t conceive carried a child then presented him to the Lord. In 1 Samuel 2:18 we see the child served before the Lord in verse 21 ..and this boy Samuel grew before the Lord – being prepared and gaining wisdom. In vs 26 you can read “And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the Lord and with people.” In 1 Samuel 3 you can read about the calling of this young boy. Samuel slept in the temple vs. 3. The scripture says in vs. 7 that Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. God called Samuel now for three times each time he woke an went to Eli and says to Eli “Here I am, you called me” at that point Eli realises that God has been calling Samuel. He commands Samuel the following: “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” In vs. 19-21 the scripture says The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and He let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba recognised that Samuel was attested as a prophet of the Lord (ordained). The Lord continued to appear himself to Samuel through His word. During this time till the installation of Saul as King following the request of Israel Samuel was the prophet that was sharing the word of God that came to him. The sending part is when God says to Him that he need to anoint David after God rejected Saul as king (1 Samuel 15). In chapter 16 you can read vs. 1 The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” So Samuel served the people of God, he interceded for them, he was the mediator between the Israel and God.
These 5 essential keys are the same for David. David was anointed as king, but after being anointed he went back to his life and served some more. He served Saul by playing a string instrument because Saul was being tormented by an impure spirit. David went against Goliath. Th story of David keeps on growing. You see God doesn’t choose people that are prepared, He prepares the ones He has chosen. Being a minister is not about power, position, titles and being served by the people but rather it is to serve to people of God.
There is nothing better then being in the place God called, prepared and send you to be. There is a difference by being appointed by man and being called and chosen by God. There is general calling that we should go and make all nations his disciples. Even this general part requires that we are prepared. The disciples had been chosen by Jesus, they been thought by Jesus, they experienced the wonders for themselves. Mark 16:16-20: in vs. 16 you can read the commandment and in vs. 20 you can read that the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it. The church is intended to help people, the people need to grow they need to become disciples as the disciples Jesus has chosen, they need to become ambassadors of the Kingdom and help pass the Word on. Now a days there are people being conditioned to stay in the condition of their past, their is no growth cause they are being fed with milk, others sitting out their punishment and feeling guilty over and over again. It is sad to see people in church that are broken with no liberty to speek up cause they are afraid of ending up even more broken. People considering leaving the church others confused and others doubting their self cause it seems that the world knows the word better than we calling ourself Christians and followers of Jesus.
Second example out of the scripture: Jesus (the Savior)
1) Jesus was born by God, the Holy Spirit. The bible says in Matthew 1:18,20
2) Jesus is called by God, Jesus is the Son of God there is no higher calling. People had been waiting for Him to be born before Jesus was even conceived. It had been prophesied that Jesus the Lamb of God, this means that through Him we might receive salvation. God predestined the moment John 1:1- 5.
3) Prepared: At the age of 12 Jesus was found in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. Luke 2:46 And Jesus asked His parents why they were searching for Him and giving the answer Himself he replied: “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” Luke 2:50.
4) Ordained. John the Baptist only went before Jesus but knew that the one Jesus was greater. Jesus was send by God.
5) Send, John 3:16 is an example but through the whole New Testament we can read about all the things Jesus did while here on earth
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,..” “ just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many”
The concept of going to church is to serve others, it means to serve before men, to serve people. In doing so the Father will be glorified. All the glory and honor comes to the Lord.
Human being is a fragile species, most things are based on feelings, acceptance, recognition. People need to feel that they appreciated for the work they do, that they matter. People need to feel accepted in order to open up and to show their real self. They need to be recognise for the person they are and the abilities they have. Treat others as you want them to treat you.
The church members only reflect the kind of teaching and guidance they are getting. We all need guidance and we all need wisdom and insight of the Holy Spirit.
Pardon my long writing for the day but is necessary that saints are being equipped and developed into the man and woman God called them to be. It does not happen overnight and we are certainly never outlearned. God has a lot in store things our mind can even begin to wonder about. God surprise people.
God bless you. Remembering that through Jesus we now have the access to God His presence.
Good morning God bless you,
Today I’m starting with the scripture Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The Lord wants to prosper you, He doesn’t want to harm you, He wants you to hope in Him and He has a future for you. It is the Lord that is planning to do all these for you. Sometimes you may go through difficult times, it feels like their is a drought in your life a emptiness but let me tell you, God is able to cause rain to fall in the dried place, He is able to fill that emptiness. Maybe you want to hear God speak to you and it seems so quite, know God is working on your behalf.
See God cause you to sacrifice things so He can bless and give you more. Abraham needed to sacrifice his son Isaac, the sacrifice happened in his heart. God made Abraham father to nations.
Job lost everything all he possessed, his family all was lost but later God blessed him twice more than before. You see sometimes before experiencing a financial breakthrough there seems to be a big drought before God blesses you in the way He is gonna do. Maybe it’s not a financial breakthrough you need but a total recovery in your health, even so God can prosper you. Hope in the Lord.
Every time there is a shifting coming it requires you to sacrifice things, it causes you to fight even bigger demons than you’ve already conquered. Every time you need to loose somethings to gain better things God has in store for you.
Recently I lost a friend, the situation cost me a lot of pain and I thought God if it is this what you want so be it. I was hurt and didn’t understand at the time what was happening. I thought I was wrong. But then it came to me, sometimes you may face opposition not because you are doing something wrong but because you are doing something right. Sometimes when a shift is coming it causes you to loose some people because the place where God is taking you not everyone can come along with you. It may hurt at the time but know that God never intended to harm you it is all a process for where God is bringing you.
The word says those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Now it may feel you have no strength left and that your spiritual armour is warn out, but the Lord will renew your strength when you hope in Him. You may be tired but keep pressing on, those who quit are just quitters but those who press on will be victorious.
For a second here let’s talk about Judas the one who betrayed Jesus with a kiss. It may sound strange but thank God for him, because without him there wouldn’t be a betrayal, without betrayal there wouldn’t be crucifixion, without crucifixion there wouldn’t be the death of Jesus and without the death of Jesus there wouldn’t be a resurrection. And it is through this resurrection that I am assured that I will have life and life in abundance through Him. That my future is secure in the hands of the Lord that holds the whole creation in the palm of His hands.
You see we can plan a lot of things but only the plans of the Lord will prosper.
Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Psalm 33:10-11 “The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.”
I hope you will be blessed by this writing. Be empowered by the Holy Spirit of God.
Hey there I salute you in the Mighty name of Jesus. Today I just want to encourage you in love to be aware of our own plans.
So many times we use these excuses; “I am so busy” or “I am so tired” that we can’t get the things of the Lord right.
Meaning that if for example you don’t pray or read your bible in the morning you can do it later on the day. So you start of your day and it gets busier and you get home exhausted, tired, you have no mood or the mind to read anything or do anything. This rhythm becomes normal something we repeat day after day to find ourself spinning in a cycle and spiritually dried out!
It’s a point in life where nothing seems to be working out, everything is falling apart. You need to reschedule, you need to seek God first to refresh your soul than you need to plan better, so you need to start of from the beginning their are things that must be changed!
We have the wrong habits to postpone things we must do for the Lord, for our spiritual life, we set these things apart so we can be busy planning our own paths and assuring our own tomorrow. We forget that He can do all things, through Him we are co-heirs of the Kingdom in Him we lack nothing, He is God all by Himself !
These are some encouraging scripture we need to be sure not to forget an set aside!
Hebrews 10:25 “… not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing…”
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
In all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:6
With loving regards,
Hey there God bless you,
In these past few weeks I learned a lot and it is worth sharing. Life is a roller coaster. It has it’s ups and down, it’s highlights and low points. Either way no matter in which you encounter yourself in their is always something to learn. Sometimes it is a life lesson that needs to be thought. Sometimes it is not a lecture we need but just a reminder of who we are now and who we need to be. There is always something to learn, we are not outlearned, we don’t know everything and we need the Holy Spirit for vision, guidance, understanding and knowledge on how to handle things in certain situations and circumstances of life.
Besides telling people that I love them and care about them I often say sorry and thank you. By doing so I also really mean it from the depths of my heart. These are words imprinted in me. People who really know me can testify about it. If I’m wrong of if I’m not sure about being wrong I will ask sorry, ask for forgiveness. This is what the bible commands us to do. If you know that your brother has something against you, go and make it right. After all we need to be quick to listen and slow to talk. I learned this past week that “silence can’t be quoted” (FL. Serita Ann Jakes)
When there is misunderstanding and a person doesn’t care to ask what you meant by what was said, there is no need to excuse yourself and to explain. This mean that they believe in their own interpretations of the matter. Even if you didn’t meant it all they feel and care about is the moment of the happening. It is important to speak about your feelings but what matter the most is forgiveness. See Joseph brothers sold him into slavery, he went through a lot of trouble because of this action but it didn’t change Him. God set him apart to nurture Him and to teach Him. When the time presented itself Joseph reaction though in Genesis 45:1-5 he gathered them around and put his arms around them, comforted them by telling don’t be distressed and angry with yourselves. Joseph recognised it was the will of God.
We need to have the spirit of reconciliation, we need to sow peace make sure that peace rains. We all need to take responsibility for our actions. Are we building the temple of Saul (reigned for status and power, a man who was arrogant and jealousy was within him) or are we building the temple of David? (house of God and a man according to God’s heart).
We are not worth being forgiven if we don’t forgive others. In Matthew we pray, forgive us our debts as we forgive debtors..
If we say “I love you” be real about it. Stop the pretending. There is no need for a masquerade fest cause when we come into the presence of the Most High God nothing can stay hidden we we will be exposed to our lacks, to our vulnerabilities, to our insecurities.
The proces and the price we have to pay is high but remember the highest price Jesus did already paid it, it was by shedding of His blood at the cross.
My prayer for today:
Heavenly hallow be thy name, Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Father even though they hurt us and it wronged us in the spirit help us to be humble and follow your path. By doing so you will mend our hearts, you will give us the strength and the joy to keep going. And Father if we are the ones that wronged others and hurt them, help us to recognise this and be real about it and vulnerable enough to ask forgiveness for our actions. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.
ShainaLiMargaritha ~ S.L. Domitilia
Hey there today a concerning matter I wan’t to leave you with to think about. It’s the foundation of a house that determines how strong the hous will be!
Now a days when we here follow Jesus, we are still looking for things of the past to bring into the new. It doesn’t work that way you can’t put the new with the old.. it’s like putting new apples in a basket with rotten apples, they will all become rotten.
Why in the world would someone who has been given a new and second chance, a clean slate bring things that used to be into the new opportunity that has been given unto him?. It’s like planning to do things the same way you used to do and the outcome will be the same ass before. (You cannot blame God for this)
It’s remarkable when Jesus picked His first disciples they were fishing, Jesus called them and instantly they drop it all the left their boats, nets, in one sentence: they left it all to follow Him. They didn’t question the calling where to, what for and so on.. They simply did it and they were transformed from fishers of fish to now be fishers of man. What you used do Jesus will turn it around and used it for something good… the qualities and talents you have will be harnessed to be in practice for His glory!
Just drop everything and follow Him, take Him as compass (your Guide) and use the manual for the use terms (the bible with rules of direction/ wisdom). Don’t forget to commune with Him (in prayer, all times)
Be blessd. With loving regards,
Hey there God bless you. It’s a month ago since I wrote to you. As we are at the mid of the week and God pored His wisdom into me I’ll like to share with you as well. It is a small bible study teaching. I hope you will be blessed by it. Main scripture is 1 Corinthians 16:13 (additional Joshua 1:7-9)
4 Ingredients to achieve success
1. Be on your guard:
Every challenge/ situation you walk in needs preparation. You need orientation, knowledge and tactics for approach. You need to know if it is a God assigned mission before you walk in and make certain that it’s not a trap and misguidance of satan. (1 Peter 5:8)
2. Stand firm in faith:
The bible says that faith without works is dead. (James 2:14-26). You need to have faith that it all will work out for good for you that believes.
3. Be courages:
Courage is the opposite of fear. Fear paralyses you, it keeps you from making steps forward and to face the challenge or to approach the situation. As we know the bible says that God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Last but not least;
4. Be strong: You need to be strong physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
4.1 Physically: You need a good condition otherwise your constantly tired. When your tired faith runs out.
4.2 Mentally: You need enough rest so you can be in balance. Everything in life needs to be balanced. If you don’t have enough rest you will get weary and eventually have a burn out.
4.3 Spiritually: Always stay connected to the power source; God. You need to have that prayer life going (pray without ceasing). You need to have your worship going, you need to read the word as He poor wisdom into you. You need to put his word in practice. And you sure needs to be still sometimes to hear from Him.
4.4 Emotionally: Know that God is Jehova Rapha, your Healer. He can mend your wounds. Be of sound mind and have dominion over yourself that when you speak, you check first that it is your sound mind that is speaking and not your emotions. Never react out of emotion. Use wisdom.
Be blessed. With loving regards,
God bless you, last week I didn’t write to you cause I was in a deal with God where He was sharing His heart with me and I didn’t want to write to you until I got everything I need to write you about. I will jump right to it. I have to give you the heads up that it may probably get ugly but in obedience towards God I will write it anyways. Main scripture Psalms 84 (I will quote some other Psalms scriptures)
Here is the deal; Church is not a trend. It is not all about getting dressed, having your hair done so you can come to a fashion show to see who is better clothed or what car one is driving in. Church is about surrendering our ego and will and submitting to the plan and purpose of God!!
Church isn’t an convention centre where big events take place. There is no time to think whether you feel like coming to church or not. You need and want to be in church, beside needing to be there you need and want to be involved in God’s business. Not only you come because you need something from but you come cause you are in need of God. You realise that without Him you wouldn’t made it this far. If it was not been for God where would you be today. Serving God isn’t a burden it’s not a obligation you have the free will to choose to serve Him, You serve God cause you want it and is your deepest desire that He get all the glory and honour that belongs to Him.
Church isn’t a theatre where you come and you need to be still cause the show is running. It is a place where you come to give God praise and glory for all that He has done. Sunday is all about God and giving Him the glory. You have the whole week to ask for things, Sunday is a day of thanksgiving and to give back unto Him. He says come into my courts with thanksgiving in your heart. If you don’t want to praise, He don’t need you, He can make the stones to so. But He says let everything that has breath praise the Lord Psalms 150:6. So when you come to church nobody needs to say to praise Him. There needs to be rivers of living water that will flow from within you, cause you believe in Him. Nobody needs to tell you clap your hands and give Him a shout of praise, isn’t that why you came to give Him all that He deserves.
It is so that if you need prayer the elders will pray for you but when it is prayer time in the sanctuary it cannot be so that you are to weary that you can’t uplift a prayer. The bible says pray without ceasing. Don’t get tired of praying. Your problems are not bigger than God. Every tongue needs to confess that He is God and every knee shall bow before Him. You see when you confess God out loud, you are letting the devil and your situation know that what seems impossible for you is possible for God. You are letting the devil and your situation know, that If God is on your side no one can stop you of glorifying and praising His name. There is no other name than the Name of Jesus. Stop looking around and wasting time and start proclaiming things over you life, your family, your church…
Start thanking God for His grace, mercy His everlasting love, for the blessings that he gave unto you. Pray for the needy, bless one and other. Let everything you do it’s out of love. Cause you can do good but if the love of and for God don’t habit in you it’s in vain.
Church is not a playing ground. When it comes to God and His business things are serious we need to help build the Kingdom, make leaders, winning souls. It can’t be so that we come in and out the church and still be acting as babies. We need to grow spiritually and be mature in the things of God. We cannot keep doing the same stuff we used to do. You need to be the light and salt of the earth. Make a difference. Start at home.
If you take the first verse; “How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty!” David wasn’t burdened at all to be in the house of the Lord. He loved to be there, He wanted to be there. He said; “How lovely..” can you say it is lovely to be in the house of the Lord. Or are you so consumed by your own agenda that if it not fit you will skip a sunday?
2 “My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” This is a deep longing for God. He is thirsty for more of God. He is in need of God. He is not the because he needs something of God, but because he is in need of the living God.
3 “Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.” You see if God can take care of the birds, how much more can He do for you, aren’t you more important?
4 “Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.” You are blessed when you seek God, You are blessed when you praise Him for ever. Proclaiming that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The everlasting God, the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is within.
5 “Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.” You are blessed when you recognise that is not you but God through you. His strength has kept you this far and is keeping you going. You are blessed when you keep His word in your heart. Whatever you obstacle, situation, period you may find yourself in, His strength and word is keeping you on the move.
6. “As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.” Listen problems doesn’t last for ever. Those who sow with tears will reap with joy. For joy comes in the morning. (Valley of Baka means valley of tears)
7. “They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.” While you keep moving forward on the path God has put you on, battling whatever life throws at you, you will see His mighty hands that moves you from strength to strength. It is His power that you kept for His glory.
8. “Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob.” And when you pray He will listen cause you are following His directions. Do not harden your heart when the word of the Lord comes to you. Cause it is out of love that He rebukes you.
9. “Look on our shield,[e] O God; look with favor on your anointed one.” God’s shield you, He protects you and you will find favor in His sight just as David. You are anointed by Him. He has anointed you and your cup will fill and run over. There is an overflow in the Spirit.
10. “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” It is better to be all the days of your life in the house of the Lord than to be with foolish people who mocker God. David would rather be a doorkeeper than to be elsewhere. The house of the Lord where His presence and power habits.
11. “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” God is your shield, He is your glory and he will not withhold good things from those who walk in integrity.
12. “Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.” If you only trust that God is for you and nobody can be against you, you will be blessed. (Psalms 40:4, Jeremiah 17:7-8, Psalms 5:11-12, Psalms 125:1-2)
I know todays writing was long but it is what the Lord has pressed on my heart. My prayer is that it will fall into good grounds and may find roots and grow in you. Be blessed.
