Devouring the lion..

God bless you,

Today I want to encourage you to keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. Right now is not the time to loose your head over stuff that don’t really matter. (ex. if someone called you stupid, rebuke these words cause you ain’t stupid and know who you are in God there is no time to pick a fight or to feel down, cause God made you perfectly fine) Sometimes we are to eager to say something back.

The devil has his ways to crawl into your head and uses humans to poison you, this is why you have to stay vigilant. Beside the devil there are also people walkin’ around looking to break you. They don’t like you, they are close but they are just waiting and looking for you to do something wrong so you can be punished.

1 peter 5;8

If you read in Daniel chapter 6 you’ll see that Daniel was good and special. Daniel was put as one of the administrators over the 120 satraps that Darius had appointed. But than in verse 3 the bible says “ Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.” Because of this the other 2 administrators tried to find ground, something in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They couldn’t find anything that is basic in this function to catch him on, he was trustworthy. They thought if they can’t find anything there lets try to find something that has to do with the law of his God.

These 2 administrator got it together and convince Darius that for the next thirty days no other god shall be serve than he himself and if some someone did that this person shall be thrown in the cave of den with lions. So King Darius put the decree in writing. (vs. 6-9) Then Daniel heard about this decree, he went home and has he used to do he prayed 3 days a day. He prayed, the group went up to his house and caught him praying, they went to king Darius to tell him, he was distressed. He didn’t want to throw Daniel in the den with lions. But he signed the decree so he answered the call and gave orders to go get Daniel. (vs. 10-16)

You can read the rest of the chapter; “will resume it”

Daniel was thrown into the cave, it was sealed with a big rock. But king Darius could not eat nor sleep over the fact that Daniel was in the cave with lions. But our God, the God of Daniel was with him, he shut the mouth of the lions. Daniel was alive without a scratch. King Darius went to visit and said “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “May the king live forever!” King Darius rejoiced over the fact that Daniel was alive. The ones who falsely accused Daniel where throw into the fire. The lions ripped them apart the instance the were thrown into the fire. King Darius made a new decree;

26 “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel.

“For he is the living God
    and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
    his dominion will never end.
27 He rescues and he saves;
    he performs signs and wonders
    in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
    from the power of the lions.”

Daniel prospered. You can prosper.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,
