#lifelesson #forgiveness

Hey there God bless you,

In these past few weeks I learned a lot and it is worth sharing. Life is a roller coaster. It has it’s ups and down, it’s highlights and low points. Either way no matter in which you encounter yourself in their is always something to learn. Sometimes it is a life lesson that needs to be thought. Sometimes it is not a lecture we need but just a reminder of who we are now and who we need to be. There is always something to learn, we are not outlearned, we don’t know everything and we need the Holy Spirit for vision, guidance, understanding and knowledge on how to handle things in certain situations and circumstances of life.

Besides telling people that I love them and care about them I often say sorry and thank you. By doing so I also really mean it from the depths of my heart. These are words imprinted in me. People who really know me can testify about it.  If I’m wrong of if I’m not sure about being wrong I will ask sorry, ask for forgiveness. This is what the bible commands us to do. If you know that your brother has something against you, go and make it right. After all we need to be quick to listen and slow to talk. I learned this past week that “silence can’t be quoted” (FL. Serita Ann Jakes)

When there is misunderstanding and a person doesn’t care to ask what you meant by what was said, there is no need to excuse yourself and to explain. This mean that they believe in their own interpretations of the matter. Even  if you didn’t meant it all they feel and care about is the moment of the happening. It is important to speak about your feelings but what matter the most is forgiveness. See Joseph brothers sold him into slavery, he went through a lot of trouble because of this action but it didn’t change Him. God set him apart to nurture Him and to teach Him. When the time presented itself Joseph reaction though in Genesis 45:1-5 he gathered them around and put his arms around them, comforted them by telling don’t be distressed and angry with yourselves. Joseph recognised it was the will of God.

forgiveness

We need to have the spirit of reconciliation, we need to sow peace make sure that peace rains. We all need to take responsibility for our actions. Are we building the temple of Saul (reigned for status and power, a man who was arrogant and jealousy was within him) or are we building the temple of David? (house of God and a man according to God’s heart).

We are not worth being forgiven if we don’t forgive others. In Matthew we pray, forgive us our debts as we forgive debtors..

If we say “I love you” be real about it. Stop the pretending. There is no need for a masquerade fest cause when we come into the presence of the Most High God nothing can stay hidden we we will be exposed to our lacks, to our vulnerabilities, to our insecurities.

The proces and the price we have to pay is high but remember the highest price Jesus did already paid it, it was by shedding of His blood at the cross.

My prayer for today:

Heavenly hallow be thy name, Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Father even though they hurt us and it wronged us in the spirit help us to be humble and follow your path. By doing so you will mend our hearts, you will give us the strength and the joy to keep going. And Father if we are the ones that wronged others and hurt them, help us to recognise this and be real about it and vulnerable enough to ask forgiveness for our actions. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.

Be blessed.

Christmas in your heart.

God bless you,

Today will be my last post for this year. I just want to tell you that Christmas is something that has to happen in your heart. It doesn’t matter if your tree is big or small or if you even have one or not. It doesn’t matter if you have new clothes to put on or not and it doesn’t matter if you have presents or not all that matters is that you know in your heart that thousands of years ago God made Maria pregnant by the Holy Ghost. Joseph and Maria would be parents of the most important Person in your life.

This is what you need to know this Christmas Matthew 1:18-24 the story is foretold..

Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about[d]: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet[e] did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. 20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[f] because he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[g] (which means “God with us”)24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

importance Christmas

Remember for every celebration there is a reason if it is a birthday means there is someone whom they give birth to on this day. This is the Birthday of Jesus so celebrate Jesus before everything, recall all those moments of triumph He brought you through. Think about His goodness. His Mercy, His Love and His grace. It’s because of Him you can face today and you will know that anything that comes tomorrow will be just as fine. Because He is here for eternity. Everything will pass but His word will remain through all eternity. His love will be everlasting.

From my family to yours we wish a happy holidays. May Gods hands be over you and cover you under His wings. Shalom Shalom

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

PS: I’ll start posting 5th of January again!

Get in!!!

God bless you,

Today I just want to encourage you to get in with God. When you do business with God it will benefit you. The bible says in Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of year heart. So when you get in with God, He will also get in with you.

psalm 37;4

In Psalm 145:19 the bible also says that those who fear Him, their desires will be fulfilled.

19 “He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.”

So delight yourself in Him, fear Him and you desires will be fulfilled. God says that we must seek His kingdom first and everything else will be added unto you.

Be blessed.

Listen…

God bless you,

Today I just want to stand still to the fact that God repeatedly is telling me/you in the New Testament that whoever has ears, to let them hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. God knew that we wouldn’t listen because He also said to me/you” if you hear His voice,
do not harden your hearts…” (Hebrews 3:8,15)

The first time the sentence “Whoever has ears, let them hear” is written to me/you is in Matthew 11:15. The second time is in Matthew 13:9-18. Jesus is talking in parables here. Thou the word of God is for everyone, it speaks more to those who accept it, because in verse 13 the scripture gives the reason why Jesus is talking in parables. (“Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.) This is a prophecy spoken long before Jesus. Isaiah said in chapter 6:9-10

He said, “Go and tell this people:

“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’
10 Make the heart of this people calloused;
    make their ears dull
    and close their eyes.[a]
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

The third time is in the book of Mark 4:23 “If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.”
Afterwards this verse is repeatedly written in Revelation 2:7,11,17,29.

rev 2;7

In Revelation 2:7 NIV

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Now here is something promising about this scripture; 1) out of fear for God you will listen and obey Him – 2) those whom live this way, will conquer and be victorious – 3) when you are VICTORIOUS, God will give you the right to eat from the tree of life – 4) which is in the paradise. (and you know that not everyone will get this access) You have to work hard to get there. You have to listen to God in order for you to get there. You need vision to see what God is wanting you to see. You need to have the heart that pleases God’s desires.

And finally Matthew 13:16 16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.”

Listen to God’s voice do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent His rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.(Proverbs 3:11-12)

Be blessed.

Inside the Heart..

God bless you,

This is a new week. A new day and a new month. I’ll say that in the natural from time to time sometimes you have a big cleaning day at home or maybe even a renovation of your house.. As I believe and it is written biblical that everything that happens in the natural happens also in the spiritual. There is a quote that says; “Home is where the heart is”

Today my question to you is… Is your heart clean. Have you open up every room and cleanse it from top to scratch? Or is there a room where you have thrown all the stuff you don’t want to throw away. You know sometimes we have a room where guest can go. It is the same with the heart there is a piece of the heart that is still hurt, there is a piece that is full with hate, there is a piece dying for renovation..

Jeremiah 17:10 NIV
“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Is your heart ready to be examine? Can God come into your house?

Today you have another chance to say: Psalm51;10-12

Psalm 51:10-12New International Version (NIV)

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Let God…Let God… He can create a new heart, He will examine it and if you want and ask for it He will renew you… Today is the day to give God that room where you have thrown everything that hurts…

I’ll pray to you will be blessed and renewed in your heart.

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia

Heart be positioned!

God bless you,

Today you may read the title and think “mmmhh” God made me and my heart is positioned where it belongs. But in reality that’s not what I meant and if you realise with it me you will have the feeling deep down that this is a spiritual matter. (while you keep reading pardon my writing, I am just pouring my heart and what God placed on it) We are not playing dress up right now, so we don’t need masks; to hide the pain, the feelings and maybe even the attitude that is created by everything that is been happening around you and in your life. If your heart has been corrupted (damaged), give God the chance to restore it back for you. Bible talks about the ones pure in heart only they can see the Lord.

Now if your playing dress up every Sunday and you are taking allot of tasks in ministry but your relationship with God is fading what good will that do. If your heart is not positioned it wil all be for nothing. God  Says in

                     Jeremiah 17;10

Jeremiah 17:10 NIV

“I the Lord search the heart
    and examine the mind,
to reward each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”

Have a blessed day.

With Loving regards,

S.Domitilia
