Power comes from Praying

Hey there as I was studying the Word I became fully aware of the fact that without a relationship with God we would be merely a human being wandering around without a clue. It would seem like miracles will not work in our behaves cause we don’t have a relationship with God. We wouldn’t know what to look for.

Example: If you get married, you will have the status of married, but if you don’t work on the relationship you would only be a person with a empty title.(the marriage will fail because of lack of communication) For a relationship to be effective you need to work it, get to know each other. It’s the same with God.
We can say we are christians but unless we have a relationship with God it will only be a empty title. Our lives need to be prove of who we are. A title doesn’t have to announce who you want to be but rather confirm who you are in God.

Biblical example is Moses: always humble, chosen by God as mediator between God and the Israelites. Throughout the story of Moses you can read that God spoke to Moses and that Moses would simply obey the Lord commandments. Reading Exodus 33:8-10 And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to their tent. 11 The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.  Numbers 12:7-8 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face,
clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LordWhy then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?”

Another example is Jesus Himself. Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Reading Luke 4:42At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place…”, Luke 5:16 “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” We can never cope with the demands of life in the Kingdom of God unless we are being recharged through our relationship with God.

A mobile won’t last long if it is not charged, neither do we as followers of Christ we need to be plugged, in connection with God. When you are humble God elevates you. When you pray God adds power to you.
Pray without ceasing! 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Be blessed.

The royal Kingdom of God!

God bless you,

This morning I want to encourage you with this; Do not settle for less than you deserve.

Prince and princess in the real life has people that serve them and respect them. Now as Christians we have Pastors, Deacons and Leaders that serve us the word, but you also have brothers and sisters that serves each other with their talents and gifts. Respect is something that God requests from us (Matthew 7:12) vs.12  says explicit “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

More verses:
1 Peter 2:17 “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.”

As people you should be loved for who you are, don’t permit that people love you in their own way. Don’t ever think this is what I deserve I don’t deserve better… God promised you the best. Don’t stick around because you’ll think that you are gonna stay alone. You are never alone. God has you.

Always be prepared to be moved and guided into the greater things God has in store for you. I’ll take an example out of the scripture. In Genesis 41 Bible talks about Joseph the dream interpreter. Pharaoh had been having dreams for days and no one could interpret these. So he order his people to get him Joseph so he could explain these dreams to him. Joseph told him what God meant with these dreams. This is the reason why Joseph was put in charge over Egypt. But in verse 40 bible says;”40 You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.” Now God has left us in charge on this earth, we been given authority over darkness and we should do what God ordered us but always remembering that He is greater than us. He is the King of kings , The Almighty, The Strong Tower..
There is no greater God!
romans 8;14-17

Well that was the story of Joseph (Joseph was taken in after his brothers throw him in the well); now this is our story. God has taken us in, we received forgiveness and He transformed us, in fact He adopted us..

Bible says in Romans 8:14-17 NIV

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Hope you been blessed,

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia
