Power comes from Praying

Hey there as I was studying the Word I became fully aware of the fact that without a relationship with God we would be merely a human being wandering around without a clue. It would seem like miracles will not work in our behaves cause we don’t have a relationship with God. We wouldn’t know what to look for.

Example: If you get married, you will have the status of married, but if you don’t work on the relationship you would only be a person with a empty title.(the marriage will fail because of lack of communication) For a relationship to be effective you need to work it, get to know each other. It’s the same with God.
We can say we are christians but unless we have a relationship with God it will only be a empty title. Our lives need to be prove of who we are. A title doesn’t have to announce who you want to be but rather confirm who you are in God.

Biblical example is Moses: always humble, chosen by God as mediator between God and the Israelites. Throughout the story of Moses you can read that God spoke to Moses and that Moses would simply obey the Lord commandments. Reading Exodus 33:8-10 And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to their tent. 11 The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.  Numbers 12:7-8 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face,
clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LordWhy then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?”
relationship
Another example is Jesus Himself. Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Reading Luke 4:42At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place…”, Luke 5:16 “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” We can never cope with the demands of life in the Kingdom of God unless we are being recharged through our relationship with God.

A mobile won’t last long if it is not charged, neither do we as followers of Christ we need to be plugged, in connection with God. When you are humble God elevates you. When you pray God adds power to you.
Pray without ceasing! 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Be blessed.

Your presence is better…..

God bless you,

First of all I want to thank my faithful readers that continue to read the blog even thou there was nothing new posted. I appreciate your prayers and the fact that you as reader and follower uphold me. After a few months of struggles and dealing with legal parts after the passing of my mother I’m back. I thank God for His grace and mercy that has kept me so far as I felt I could no longer go on but I knew His presence was there with me along this journey.

Today I want to write you about Moses and the fact that he chose God’s presence over the promise. You see in Exodus 33:3 NIV God says to Moses: “Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.”

You see God promised them long before that He would take them out from Egypt and away from Pharao, He told them that He was going to bring them elsewhere that is far better than where they are currently are. But God also said that He would not go because they don’t listen they are stubborn and if He goes he would probably kill them along the way. But see in vs.12-15 (you can read all of it till 21)

12 Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’ 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”

14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

15 Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

If you read carefully you’ll see that Moses did tell God all the promises He has been making regarding these people. His nation. Than God replied and said My Presence will go with you, and will give you rest. Than Moses replied and said this: “If Your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.

God promised them something it was time to get up and leave for a situation that was better than the one they wore in but they refused to go if God’s presence wouldn’t go.

exodus33;3-15

Daily you run after promises God has made you but you forget that His presence need to be there in order for things turn out as they should be. Sometimes you run after promises and God’s presence left or even isn’t there anymore. Things don’t go as it should go and you blame God for it or you are disappointed in people because you forget to invite God’s presence to go before you. You need to have the timing to go with God’s presence infront of you.

Lord you promised me a man. And you are off chasing a man and than suddenly you have the man but marriage doen’t go as planned and you realise God’s presence wasn’t even there.

Lord you promised me abundance, prosperity… You are off chasing career and than suddenly you realise that you are far from God and to busy making career and building nice houses and buying the latest car to drive in.

All these things are good when you don’t forget about God and His presence that is required for direction and favor.

There are many people that has all those things but one thing will differentiate you from them. It will be God’s Presence and His glory covering you.

It is better to live in His presence than to take short cuts to the promise without His presence going in front off you.

I much rather stay in Your Presence God than run after promises and later on realise that your presence wasn’t even there or left.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

God’s guidance

God bless you,

In todays writing I’ll be writing about God’s guidance. God tells Moses in
Exodus 33 vs. 1-2: “Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites” Here you can read that God is in control of the situation. So the first thing is preparing the way.

In verse 12 you can read that Moses is telling God, that He had told Him to lead the people he brought out of Egypt. But now Moses is asking who is going with him. Moses needs guidance/ God his assistance to lead the people. At some point Moses told God that if His presence doesn’t go with him he will not go. Then God replied “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.” vs.17
Second thing out of the story of Moses leading the people he brought out is guidance. Moses didn’t lean on his own understanding, believes and ways. He chose God to be the one who goes in front of them.

Now the last part of this chapter is talking about the glory of God being upon Moses. This is the third thing; God glory will be upon you; you will be favoured, blessed in abundance..The Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 20 But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” So you will experience God presence and His moving hands in your situation.

God will choose you, order you, direct and guide you in your steps!

psalm 32;8

Psalms 32:8 NIV says the following;

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

God will teach you the way, just trust Him on this one. Don’t be stubborn and follow your own direction for you afterwards to get lost. Let Him teach you, this way you will not get lost.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,
