Power comes from Praying

Hey there as I was studying the Word I became fully aware of the fact that without a relationship with God we would be merely a human being wandering around without a clue. It would seem like miracles will not work in our behaves cause we don’t have a relationship with God. We wouldn’t know what to look for.

Example: If you get married, you will have the status of married, but if you don’t work on the relationship you would only be a person with a empty title.(the marriage will fail because of lack of communication) For a relationship to be effective you need to work it, get to know each other. It’s the same with God.
We can say we are christians but unless we have a relationship with God it will only be a empty title. Our lives need to be prove of who we are. A title doesn’t have to announce who you want to be but rather confirm who you are in God.

Biblical example is Moses: always humble, chosen by God as mediator between God and the Israelites. Throughout the story of Moses you can read that God spoke to Moses and that Moses would simply obey the Lord commandments. Reading Exodus 33:8-10 And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to their tent. 11 The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.  Numbers 12:7-8 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face,
clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LordWhy then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?”
relationship
Another example is Jesus Himself. Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Reading Luke 4:42At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place…”, Luke 5:16 “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” We can never cope with the demands of life in the Kingdom of God unless we are being recharged through our relationship with God.

A mobile won’t last long if it is not charged, neither do we as followers of Christ we need to be plugged, in connection with God. When you are humble God elevates you. When you pray God adds power to you.
Pray without ceasing! 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Be blessed.

Church is not a trend!

God bless you, last week I didn’t write to you cause I was in a deal with God where He was sharing His heart with me and I didn’t want to write to you until I got everything I need to write you about. I will jump right to it. I have to give you the heads up that it may probably get ugly but in obedience towards God I will write it anyways. Main scripture Psalms 84 (I will quote some other Psalms scriptures)

Here is the deal; Church is not a trend. It is not all about getting dressed, having your hair done so you can come to a fashion show to see who is better clothed or what car one is driving in. Church is about surrendering our ego and will and submitting to the plan and purpose of God!!

Praise

Church isn’t an convention centre where big events take place. There is no time to think whether you feel like coming to church or not. You need and want to be in church, beside needing to be there you need and want to be involved in God’s business. Not only you come because you need something from but you come cause you are in need of God. You realise that without Him you wouldn’t made it this far. If it was not been for God where would you be today. Serving God isn’t a burden it’s not a obligation you have the free will to choose to serve Him, You serve God cause you want it and is your deepest desire that He get all the glory and honour that belongs to Him.

Church isn’t a theatre where you come and you need to be still cause the show is running. It is a place where you come to give God praise and glory for all that He has done. Sunday is all about God and giving Him the glory. You have the whole week to ask for things, Sunday is a day of thanksgiving and to give back unto Him. He says come into my courts with thanksgiving in your heart. If you don’t want to praise, He don’t need you, He can make the stones to so. But He says let everything that has breath praise the Lord Psalms 150:6. So when you come to church nobody needs to say to praise Him. There needs to be rivers of living water that will flow from within you, cause you believe in Him. Nobody needs to tell you clap your hands and give Him a shout of praise, isn’t that why you came to give Him all that He deserves.

Prayer

It is so that if you need prayer the elders will pray for you but when it is prayer time in the sanctuary it cannot be so that you are to weary that you can’t uplift a prayer. The bible says pray without ceasing. Don’t get tired of praying. Your problems are not bigger than God. Every tongue needs to confess that He is God and every knee shall bow before Him. You see when you confess God out loud, you are letting the devil and your situation know that what seems impossible for you is possible for God. You are letting the devil and your situation know, that If God is on your side no one can stop you of glorifying and praising His name. There is no other name than the Name of Jesus. Stop looking around and wasting time and start proclaiming things over you life, your family, your church…

Start thanking God for His grace, mercy His everlasting love, for the blessings that he gave unto you. Pray for the needy, bless one and other. Let everything you do it’s out of love. Cause you can do good but if the love of and for God don’t habit in you it’s in vain.

Church is not a playing ground. When it comes to God and His business things are serious we need to help build the Kingdom, make leaders, winning souls. It can’t be so that we come in and out the church and still be acting as babies. We need to grow spiritually and be mature in the things of God. We cannot keep doing the same stuff we used to do. You need to be the light and salt of the earth. Make a difference. Start at home.

Psalms 84

If you take the first verse; “How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty!” David wasn’t burdened at all to be in the house of the Lord. He loved to be there, He wanted to be there. He said; “How lovely..” can you say it is lovely to be in the house of the Lord. Or are you so consumed by your own agenda that if it not fit you will skip a sunday?

2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lordmy heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” This is a deep longing for God. He is thirsty for more of God. He is in need of God. He is not the because he needs something of God, but because he is in need of the living God.

3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.” You see if God can take care of the birds, how much more can He do for you, aren’t you more important?

4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.” You are blessed when you seek God, You are blessed when you praise Him for ever. Proclaiming that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The everlasting God, the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is within.

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.”  You are blessed when you recognise that is not you but God through you. His strength has kept you this far and is keeping you going. You are blessed when you keep His word in your heart. Whatever you obstacle, situation, period you may find yourself in, His strength and word is keeping you on the move.

6. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.” Listen problems doesn’t last for ever. Those who sow with tears will reap with joy. For joy comes in the morning. (Valley of Baka means valley of tears)

7. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.” While you keep moving forward on the path God has put you on, battling whatever life throws at you, you will see His mighty hands that moves you from strength to strength. It is His power that you kept for His glory.

8. Hear my prayer, Lord God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob.” And when you pray He will listen cause you are following His directions. Do not harden your heart when the word of the Lord comes to you. Cause it is out of love that He rebukes you.

9. Look on our shield,[e] O God; look with favor on your anointed one.”  God’s shield you, He protects you and you will find favor in His sight just as David. You are anointed by Him. He has anointed you and your cup will fill and run over. There is an overflow in the Spirit.

10. Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” It is better to be all the days of your life in the house of the Lord than to be with foolish people who mocker God. David would rather be a doorkeeper than to be elsewhere. The house of the Lord where His presence and power habits.

11. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”  God is your shield, He is your glory and he will not withhold good things from those who walk in integrity.

12. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.” If you only trust that God is for you and nobody can be against you, you will be blessed. (Psalms 40:4, Jeremiah 17:7-8, Psalms 5:11-12, Psalms 125:1-2)

I know todays writing was long but it is what the Lord has pressed on my heart. My prayer is that it will fall into good grounds and may find roots and grow in you. Be blessed.

With love,

Shaina Domitilia-Margaritha

The Lord remembers you

Hey there, Gods blessing be upon you. Today I just want to share  the thought that even when people try to make you feel bad about a situation/decision, they are actually helping you get stronger and to reach higher. You need the envious people in life, they serve as a push to get you where God wants you to be. They help maximize your potentials, to reach higher and to dig deeper.

You may ask; why are people envious? You may even think “I don’t have nothing they may already have!” But again this is a lie. You have the love of God and is grace that is sufficient for you. This causes people to see you as a thread. The scripture for today is based on Peninnah and Hannah, the two wives of Elkanah (1 Samuel 1) The second scripture is Psalms 126 5-6.

Today I’m not focussing on Samuel but on the rival that is going on between these two woman. You see in text you can read that Peninnah was to one able to give Elkanah sons and daughters. Hannah on the other hand her womb was closed by the Lord. She couldn’t have childeren, she was infertile. But because of this Elkanah knew this and loved Hannah very much he would give Hannah a double portion. (1 Samuel 1:5).

Now this is something that intimidated Peninnah, she knew and saw how Elkanah cared for  Hannah, how he loved her. And the fact that se couldn’t have childeren and that her womb was closed was a strong arrow to use against Hannah, to try to breakin’ her down. So Peninnah starts reviling  Hannah and this goes one for years. She provoked Hannah in order to irritate her. You see know a days people will get in fights. They get jealous of what others have that they don’t but Hannah had a lot amount of courage, class, integrity and dignity. This caused her pain, but the pain caused her to weep in-front of the Lord. People now a days will rival on social media, they even use songs to get back at each other. What Hannah teaches is to not lower your standards, it’s not worthy and doesn’t accomplish anything. Even though it hurt. (1 Samuel 1: 7-8)

THE_LORD_WILL_REMEMBER_YOU.jpg

Hannah was fasting and praying even though in the text saids that she wouldn’t eat. After the meal she stood up and went to the Lord’s house. After all these years I understand she had enough, I can understand her tears, she was tired of being provoked. Hannah was in her deep anguish, Hannah prayed, Hannah wept bitterly (heartbroken and downhearted), Hannah was in misery but then Hannah makes a vow. (1 Samuel 9-11) “If you consider me a son I will give him back to you all the days of His life, and no razor will be used on his head”. And Hannah kept on praying she was even misunderstood by Eli he thought she was drunk cause she was praying in her heart and her lips were moving without any voice coming out her mouth. (1 Samuel 1:12-16)

You see many times we vow before the Lord and then when we get what we wanted and then we forget the promise we made God and then you find out that it no longer the way planned. Example you ask God for a child, you get the child but you forget you promised God that  you will give him back and this child causes you pain, he his wandering the world, hanging out with bad crowds..

You ask God for a job and promise to give back what you earn. But then when you have the job you forget the promise and just to find out that your short on money, you can’t even remember where and when you spend the money. Maybe it is not going that well at the job anymore and you decide to leave or you’ve been fired, left without a source of income..

The blessing is complete and you may find joy in it when you stand on your promise. Let your yes, be yes…

See Hannah had heart for God even though she was not pregnant yet.. she still worshiped before the Lord. Then the went back to their home at Ramah and Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah and The Lord Remembered Her. In the course of time she became pregnant and gave birth to a son and calls him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him”. (1 Samuel 17 – 19) The Lord remembered her. The Lord blessed her with a child. The Lord can open your womb for new talents that helps you towards your destiny, He’s able to impregnate you with purpose.

Psalms 126: 5-6

Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out weeping,
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them

Hannah was a woman of her word, so she kept her word and dedicates Samuel to the Lord (1 Samuel 21- 28) whom God will use later on for great things. (following chapters)

Even when people cause you pain, they are helping you get where you need to be. God his purpose his being put inside of you. Every pain you feel and every tear you dropped before God, He will remember them all. What He has in store for you that love Him nobody can comprehend.

Be blessed.

Rebuilding is a process

Hey there today I’m writing you from the thought that sometimes we find ourself connected the wrong people and in that moment you don’t see what the damage is. The text is based on Nehemiah 2 en 1 Peter 5:8

There need to be breakage before healing. Nothing is rebuild overnight. When God leaves you in the fire is because that’s the only way you can see God. When you can shout in the furnace you can shout when you get out. God provides revelation in the situation. Maybe the prayer your praying doesn’t need to be change my situation but give me revelation.

The most vulnerable time in ones life is when you are tired and gave everything away. the devil has time to wait on a opportunity to sneak in and if you are off guard it will bring you down. Small gesture can bring down great people. When you are tired everybody that pretend to listen will do. everybody that says anything nice to you, you will be attracted to. Bad company corrupts good character. Bad company on a long term will affect your health, your finance and your strength. It will cause you to feel as if you are in the lowest moment of your life.)non deserving of God’s love, this is a lie of the devil)  It’s the feeling like hanging on a cord without getting any air, it is the feeling of being scared that the cord will break and cause a separation between you and God.That is why we need to be alert and of sober mind. cause the enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8.

lion.jpg

Sometimes the things that seems to be of no harm will be harmful.  Sometimes we overestimate or strength just to find out that the place we are in we are selling ourself short. We need to back off and seek God.

As a person that has the calling of leadership on your life and you are functioning as leader you can not let everybody in your space. Some people will take from you without putting it back.(strength, energy , ideas…) They suck the energy out of you. they bring you down for Satan’s pleasure. Satan uses people to get what he wants. He will laugh at you in your down moment. When he thinks you don’t have the strength to get up he will find peace. But as soon as you plan to start rebuilding all hell is going to break loose. He will use strategies to bring you down. (he will ridicule you, intimidate you, scare you.. but satan’s plans are not unknown for those who pray and seek God)

  1. A leader must spend a lot of time alone. (Neh. 2:11) Sometimes you have to go apart before you fall apart. You have to unload before you overload. When you are alone you can hear from God. In your solitude you can get a plan and power.
  2. A leader takes the time to gather the necessary information/facts (Neh. 2:13). If you don’t have the facts you will make the wrong decision based only on your feelings.
  3. A leader understand the devil plan and the divine plan is based on details. If you are not a detail-oriented you will mess your life up. A leader pays attention to the details but is not bogged down in the details. You cannot rebuild while micromanaging everything and everybody.
  4. A leader understand that timing and words are important. (Neh. 2:16) Sharing information to soon gives people the time to come up with reasons why your idea won’t work. Be careful who you trust your good stuff too. Have a strategy. The devil sure as hell will have one.
  5. A leader must always focus on the big picture. 2:15
  6. A good leader knows how to motivate people
  7. A good leader knows when to confront the enemy.

Testimony:

While I was going through my now cancelled divorce procedure, I was down, this action of mine caused me a lot of stress I was loosing weight. It caused me my energy. In that time I connected with a person who I confided somethings cause my emotion were all over the place and you could read them of my face. Without noticing this person was trying to pretend to care by saying nice things like I understand, if you need to talk I’m here. Sooner than I expected I was constantly messaging on whats-app. Without knowing I was being carried away. I was feeling tired the whole time, couldn’t give anyone no motivational word, my problems were growing bigger. The demand and the feeling of obligation towards the wrong person began to grow. It was like this person couldn’t be missed in my life.. But the one Person I couldn’t be separated from was the love of God. So I decided that whatever that I can get from God I would take, if it is the same song I will praise Him with, if it is same sentence “Help me Lord” I would say. In my silence I would here Him over and over “Stop talking, Stop exposing yourself, don’t look back” Than one day when I had enough of fighting my own will vs. God’s will, after a service on sunday I messaged this person and I said you are withholding me from God, I choose no longer to give you my time. I’m choosing God over you. I have know broken that line of connection that was causing frequency damage. The truth to be told after this action I missed talking to this person it was as if this person has gotten under my skin. This person became to important in my life just to find out that I was blinded and of guard. Know that I’m aware of this I thank God that he brought me out of the mess I’ve created for myself. I’m free, not looking back. I’m going forward with Jesus in front of me behind me and next to me.

Be blessed,

Shaina Domitilia-Margaritha

A vital life..

God bless you,

This morning I want to remember you why it so important that we are constantly talking to God. (praying) When you pray doesn’t necessarily mean you have to ask for something. You can be grateful and thankful for what God is doing. Grateful for life because this was not promised to you it is by His grace..Grateful that He will never forsaken you, give your praise to God, Exalt Him, Glorify Him… Now a days we have a attitude that when we need something we know what prayer means. Prayer is not a option to get out of trouble. Sometimes prayer brings relief, you can see with clarity a way out all that stress has covered with darkness. You now have hope.

For Paul praying was not a option it was a vital question. Paul writes in
1 Thessalonians 5:17 that we must pray without ceasing..Also in the book of Romans chapter 12:12 he says:” Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” When your faithful to something you can also say you are committed to it.. Commit yourself in prayer. Talk to God about everything. There is nothing you can say to God that He already didn’t know about.

Ephesians 6;18

You must be driven by the Holy Ghost to connect with the Father, it is not a routine it is a act inspired and driven by the Holy Ghost.
Ephesians 6:18 says “ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

If you look at Jesus, He was disciplined in prayer. His ministry begun with praying and fasting. Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

The first church in acts 2:42 lived in a atmosphere of praying; They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

We must be constantly in prayer. Prayer builds us up. When you pray you are keeping the line of communication between you and God open. Remember that when you communicate with someone you have to give them the space to reply back. Give God the chance to answer back to you.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia

You got to help yourself…

God bless you,

Today I’ll write this to you; If you have been praying for a job, healing, deliverance or something else that that requires your faith in God then the next thing I’ll write to you is that if you have faith and you don’t accompanied it with action then you will not see results.

Example 1: If you need a job and you’ve been praying about it and your just laying on the couch, watching tv and app’ing friends around for nights out…. this is not a active attitude that say’s I’m praying for a job and I need a job. You cannot just stay inside and wait upon the Lord. If you don’t get out there than you cannot see opening doors for you.
Luke 5:1-11 NIV Simon was working (fishing) he worked the whole night but didn’t catch anything but then Jesus came to him the following happend;

“Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. Simon had faith and believed God.

Example 2: If you need healing and healing is offer to you but for any reason you decide to not accept medicine that helps controle the sickness than you don’t want healing. You have been praying but your not willing to take the first step.

I know you can tell me about the woman that had a blood issue for twelve years she tried every doctor spend every resource but it didn’t help she needed Jesus. But she didn’t only pray, she tried hard enough to have an encounter with Jesus. So Jesus was passing by there was a multitude but it didn’t stop her. She stretched and touch the garment of His robe. She put her faith in action. She didn’t sit and wait around she took the first step!

Example 3: You need deliverance, your praying God but your not willing to let go from the past and the things that been holding you captive. You pray everyday but doesn’t want to come to church to receive help. How is that faith working so far??

As people we give satan the opportunity to ask you where is your God. He says he provides, heals and deliver… but we as humans don’t put work, action into it.

Willingness combined with faith will drive you into going after your job, healing and deliverance!

James 2;17

James 2:17 NIV says;

17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia

You don’t call the shots!!!

God bless you,

Sometimes as people we pray God for something but we don’t have the patience to leave it in God’s hands. We think if we help Him a little bit it will go a little bit faster. You know what that is a lie, because when you “help” God you screw things up and as a result of this the process will only last longer.

God doesn’t need your help to get things done, He can help you.

Ecclesiastes 3;11,14

Ecclesiastes 3:11,14

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia

Watch out, it’s a trap!!!

God bless you,

Today I just want you to be alert on the people you let in your inner circle. Jesus had a great multitude following Him. People who needed to be healed, who needed to be set free and those who just wanted to hear and learn more of the wise Words He had to share. Jesus is the Son of God. He came into the world in His human form did everything the Father told Him to. He was obedient in everything and was in constant prayers with God. As the multitude was growing and Jesus had more followers because the great things He was doing; the Pharisees and the Sadducees began to feel threatened by Him. They wanted to catch Jesus on His own words and His own deeds. But who can fool Jesus (God) nobody;… He knew what was going in the minds of the Pharisees and Sadducees so they didn’t get the chance. They were plotting plots after plot. The Pharisees felt threatened because of the Power Jesus had, because everyone started following Him, at some point the Pharisees thought who is this Man, coming into our town and taking over what is ours. When someone has power they need to feel that they are in control, but now they didn’t get the attention as needed. Everyone was to busy following the Great I Am; Jesus the Son of God, they were hunger and thirsty for what He had. So this mad the Pharisees furious..

While reading this passage, I was thinking people never gets tired of competing with each other, they want everything good of other without the willingness to give. They feel threatened by you because they think you are better, you get all the attention, you got the promotion etc. It’s a very bad habit. If you are working for the kingdom of God, you are contributing to it. Doesn’t matter if the one is a leader, worshipper, deacon, senior pastor; we all have the same goal.

The goal is to help edify the Kingdom of God. To help others to be free from bondage as you has been set free. He came for everyone! (not just a selection)

Matthew 22;15

Matthew 22:15-22 (NIV)

Paying the Imperial Tax to Caesar

15 Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians.“Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?”

18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.

Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

22 When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away

In this same chapter if you keep reading you will find that on this same day also the Sadducees approached Jesus.

Jesus was flawless, but they wanted to find faults and wrongs in Him so they could catch Him on it!

Be blessed.

With loving regards,

S.Domitilia
